    Kid Rock’s turning 40 and he’s throwing the biggest birthday party ever at Detroit’s Ford (40) Field on January 15th, and tickets go on sale next week! Members of 'The Kid Rock Congregation' (official fan club) will have access to presale and VIP tickets before the general public, starting Monday, November 22! overseas peeps. Im not sure how they do your tickets but Artist Arena is infamous for sending tickets out just a few days before the concert. I can foresee lots of problems. Hey Kid - my friend Greg hung out with you in LA at the GQ Man of the year event this week. We were just in Mexico celebrating my 40th and partied hard to your music. We decided to make it an ongoing celebration and fly to Detroit for your 40th. Can't wait to keep the party going and hope to get VIP love when we buy our tickets tomorrow.

Hey there fellow Capricorn- I turn 40 on 1-11-11! How sweet is that? And at 8:11 pm! I too am looking for a way to bring in this milestone with a much need bang! Although it’s clear I should be in Vegas that day (at the craps table with the 7’s and 11’s) my job won’t let it happen. Who can jeopardize their job these days, right? So I reduced my celebration down to hitting the casino downtown and taking my girls to Saltwater for dinner. But wait…now that’s not happening either! (Maybe I’ll get to tell you that story some other time) So I hear you announce your birthday concert and I think – yes! This will be how I do it “up”. I’ve always wanted to see you in concert and I’m sorry to say I haven’t yet, but what better time than now? Whoo hoo! But then – ANOTHER BAM! I hear it’s a no go due to some kind of booking problem? Ugh! This birthday for me is starting to have some bad Ju-Ju around it Kid! I’m starting to get a little scared! So I’m reaching out in hopes that you still are considering bringing in your 40 in the D somewhere, and that I get an opportunity to join you. I’d love to buy my fellow Capricorn a birthday drink!

I had huge problems with the presale for the DTE shows, I am a member of KRC but the presale did not work for me. Hope the problems won't happen again.

I second what Jim B says! Hope it will all work out and we get the Tickets we wish for on Monday without any problems. Holidays are already put in, Friends know that we plan to come and get excited and the Plane Tix I ll take care of, as soon as we got the confirmation on the Birthday Gig. I am originally from Detroit (Southgate to be exact) but now live in Germany. We WILL be there. Well your bithday concert is on the 15th, my b-day is the 16th, and yours is the 17th.....and the first time I saw you in concert was on january 18th 2001 the day after your b-day and 2 days after mine....I sure with I could come to this one but I live too far away. :(
