Football, Jersey and VIP Lounge Vouchers may be picked up in Advance.
For security purposes, you will need a valid picture ID that matches the credit card used to purchase the tickets.
Note that Footballs will not be allowed into Ford Field; therefore the advance pick up option is encouraged!

Ford Field Concert Entry and VIP Lounge
Venue Gates open at 5:30pm
VIP ticket holder entry is Gate D; this is where you will also obtain proper credentials and directions to the VIP Lounge.
Gate D is located on the North side of the building, near the intersection of Brush and Montcalm Streets. You must enter Parking Lot 4 to access Gate D.
NOTE – Football, Jersey and VIP Lounge Vouchers will NOT be available for pick up when entering the concert, therefore we strongly encourage you to take advantage of the advance pick up option at The Fillmore Detroit.

This sucks, I actually purchased 10 general admission tickets and then the other day I was given two VIP tickets and I can't get the swag becuase I didn't purchase the tickets. I actually have the hard tickets
This an an example of bad business on ticketmasters part. Kid Rock has already spoke publicly complaining how ticketmaster sold most tickets to scalpers. We had to pay premium price at cost because of ticket masters hidden fees then they kick us when we're down and pull this trick. Scalpers will be selling our swag on the street. Seems to me ticketmaster and scalpers may be in bed together! Keep up the good work ticketmaster. Hows the economy in your world?!
If you are not the original ticket purchaser through ticket master or have a copy of that person's ID you will NOT be able to pick up your SWAG.
If you purchased your tickets through StubHub, another site, or given them to you as a gift (like I received them) and you have no idea as to whom the original ticket purchaser is, you are out of luck. That is basically what the promoter told me today when I went WITH VIP TICKETS IN HAND they will NOT provide you with the SWAG.
I WAS* looking forward to this concert, however the whole experience and not caring attitude, not wanting to even work with me representative at the Fillmore has tainted the event for me.
You can contact the person in charge for handing out the SWAG at 313-961-5451 ext 10 her name is Amanda.
The list they had there was organized by last name of the ticket purchaser, however showed the section and seats that were associated with that name. As each person(s) picked up their gear their name was crossed off. All Amanda would have had to do to work with ticket holders would be to simply open that file again and sort the order by section/seat number, find the associated name, refer back to the other document and cross it off. However she was NOT willing to do this.
The promoter states that the SWAG offering is a first come first serve basis, they have already received their payment when the tickets were purchased in the beginning. It shouldn't matter which person(s) ends up with the tickets and goes to the actual concert.
I received two tickets as a Christmas present that were purchased by another family member out of state. How exactly can I show THEIR picture ID and credit card. This is BS.... if we have the hard tickets in hand we should be able to get the swag
So...if you didn't buy the tickets, you don't get the swag...pretty simple...at least you have great seats!

Please, somebody help the people who do not have the credit card for the tickets purchased. This is ridiculous as it never stated this policy when the VIP tickets were purchased through Ticket Master. I'm sure there are many people who received tickets as gifts, won them & purchased them second hand. The hard tickets in hand should be proof enough. I've spoke with Ticketmaster & Live Nation and they claim only the "promoter' can alter this policy. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP!
PLEASE address how fans will pick up VIP Packages if their name is NOT on the credit card used to purchase the VIP tickets via Artist Arena. I am unable to go to the show & sold the tix to another devoted fan. I would like for them to be able to pick up the swag.

I was also concerned about the VIP entrance off of Lot 4. I was able to buy parking ahead of time, but it's in the Ford parking deck. I called T-master and they were no help at all. I assume we will just walk around the corner through Lot 4 and enter there. Last year at Pine Knob, we got all the BadAss beer we wanted, along with some bbq food. At Comerica the year before, we got 4 drinks each as well as food. I am really hoping we get more than just 2 drinks a piece. You get one voucher per ticket...what that voucher includes is what I would like to know...

Thanks for posting this. However i have found that a lot of people are going to have one big problem. Unless you purchased the tickets yourself through ticketmaster, you won't be able to get the VIP package. Notice how it says "For security purposes, you will need a valid picture ID that matches the credit card used to purchase the tickets." If you bought your tickets on Ebay, Craigslist, or some other way, you won't be able to get the VIP package, which includes access to the VIP lounge. I called Ticketmaster and they said there was nothing they could do. I asked if i'll be able to go to my seat, since I do have the hard tickets in hand. They said, "yes." I said, "so you accept that these are MY tickets and will grant me admission, but you won't give me the amenities that come with them?" Anybody have any ideas for this!?!?!?

I'm assuming the 2 vouchers are for free drinks in the Lounge.
Melissa, you have to go to The Fillmore Detroit to pick up the VIP vouches prior the the concert...and use your ticket as the parking pass...I hope.
I don't understand 2 vouchers...does that mean 2 per ticket purchased? And why would we need two?

I am going to park at a lot on Montcalm like I always do when I go to events in that area. I don't think you have to park in lot 4, that's just where the entrance is...
Beyondbitty - Right there with you! I also have purchased the 800.00 tickets through the KRC fan club and have yet to hear anything. Unless we have some diffrent information...... I am also thinking we are going to be stuck looking at Kid Rock's ass all night - Not good.
Melissa, I think you can park anywhere, but then walk through parking lot 4 to get to gate D. My VIP tickets did not come with any parking passes.
I really want to thank you for posting this information but at the same time I am pissed. -- NOT at you but I paid for the $800 VIP tickets through my KRC fan club membership and I have to find out from someone who got information from Ticketmaster? I'm sorry but unless I am missing something I have a hard time with the fact that Ticketmaster is providing their customers with information prior to the KRC members hearing a word. Again, if I am missing something I will retract my rant and apologize : ) but until then..........
I got the same email from Ticketmaster today but DO NOT have a parking lot 4 parking pass and there are NO MORE AVAILABLE. As the email states you must enter parking lot 4 to gain access to the VIP entrance - what does that mean??? Does that mean I can't enter the VIP entrance/lounge?? I called Ticketmaster and Ford Field and neither know the answer!!! Does ANYBODY know? Help! Please :)
