VIP SWAG Ford Field Show HELP
Michelle Dieter says (23 Dec '10)

I have purchased VIP tickets to the show at Ford Field. I have received the tickets, BUT does anyone know WHEN, WHERE and or HOW I will receive the KR Football and jersey that is part of the ticket package. I can't seem to find out anywhere. I got my VIP through Ticketmaster and no one gives me the same answer. Thank you.

I got mine yesterday...Along with the jersey and football, the amenities voucher is 2 drinks...that's it...no food...

has anyone picked up the amenities vouchers and what does that include????

I am wearing my jersey right now.!!!..I went downtown this afternoon to avoid the crowd tomorrow. I must say, very quick and easy!

Jersey's are Lions Jersey's.. with 40 on the back and Kid Rock over the number... mainly blue with white accents, or White with blue accents .... cool looking... didn't get a chance to check out the football though.

O and have fun at the show!

That is a huge bummer that you couldn't get the swag.. I agree they should have given it to if you had your tickets! Thanks for the information. I will be going before the show tomorrow and getting the stuff. I was the one who purchased them all. The Jersey's what do they look like?

you HAVE to bring the person's ID that originally purchased the tickets through Ticketmaster to the Fillmore theatre (formerly The State Theatre) right across the street from Comerica on Woodward. They will check your ID vs a printed list of VIP ticket purchasers. If no one has picked up your gear then you can get it there.

I know this information to be true.. .since I just came from there. :)

Granted I couldn't get the gear since I was not the original purchaser of the tickets... I was given them as a gift from a family member who purchased them on StubHub. So.. I'm screwed for the SWAG I believe. not fair i think.. I had the actual tickets in my hand and they still wouldn't provide me the gear. All they had to do was look up my seats in their documents to see if the original purchaser had picked up the gear already.

With that all said... the gear does look cool... especially the jerseys.. White or blue is your choice

Yeah Michelle, I like getting the VIP stuff. DTE last year was the best so far, there was a BBQ with all you can eat & open bar, 2 t-shirts & a hat which was more useful to me then the previous ones when we got a bobblehead & baseball bat...what am I gonna do with those?? ( they're sitting in my closet still) The VIP stuff sounded good for Ford Field. I'm not going to Ford Field this time because at Comerica park there wasn't a separate entrance to get to Vip floor & you had to go through a huge General Addmission crowd to get to your seats, not sure of what's going on at Ford Field, hopefully that's not the case, but watch out for that & get to your seats early! Enjoy- Margo

@Margoc, Thank you that is helpful to know. Yeah we are staying at the Rencen for the night and will be taking the people mover so having a bag will be nice. Did you like VIP?

@Michelle, I've had VIP at Comerica & DTE 2 times, & every time you pick up the stuff the day of the show. Last year at DTE they gave you a bag to hold all of the stuff in, which was helpful because we were dropped off there & didn't have our car to put the stuff away. Hope that helps, have fun!!

@Kim.. I have had some people tell me that we pick it up at Ford Field the day of the show.. Yes, that would be a bummer. I don't know really how to find out the best information. The most I got was from the Ford Field ticket office, she is the one that said we would get an email...

I haven't got any info yet either, sure hope we don't have to carry that stuff around with us at concert that will be no fun

Michelle Dieter's picture

I STILL haven't received any information at all.. it is a bit frustrating... I even checked my spam mail.. I hope to receive something soon!

It sure would be nice IF they gave us some some directions; my tickets did not come with a letter! What if my e-mail went to my junk mail and I already deleted it?!?!?!

Betty916's picture

I got my tickets in the mail last week. There was a letter that said that we'll receive an e-mail with the details for the VIP package the week before the concert.

This past summer we picked the merchandise up before entering the concert. (DTE/Pine Knob)

I talked to someone at Ford Field. She said that Livenation would send an email out to the VIP holders with information no sooner than Jan. 3, so we'll see.... Thanks for your input.

i could only assume it will be sent to the address you put on your ticketmaster.
