And he would start to calm down.

I think the extra 2 mins of the song would not break the bank lol I love the second half where the band gets to rock out plus it seems to be what adverts always sample like GI Joe. I agree with Fistofrage on the covers thing I would rather more kid rock songs in there place too. How's about a bit of fuck u blind on the next tour!
His musical catalog has gotten so big, I think he shortens them in order to include more songs into his set. Just a guess on my part because I honestly don't know but this is one of a few songs I would love to see him play all the way through.
i agree..he has been cutting the old songs short..and i've been to plenty of shows all over to know what i'm talking about..used to take pride in playing it just like it is on the album..but i guess he's just not into it anymore..think he is tryin to shed that image..come on people blast me again for telling it like it is..again!
