Participating Little Caesars stores across the country are now selling Kid Rock's latest CD, "Born Free." The global pizza chain is the exclusive restaurant outlet for the CD.
"Pizza is a fun food, and giving our diverse customers an opportunity to combine it with this new music release makes sense," said Stuart deGeus, vice president of Field Marketing. "Kid Rock's albums are chart-toppers, and this offering can help drive traffic to our stores."
"Born Free" is Kid Rock's eighth studio album. While "Born Free" has the edge, wit, and swagger of previous albums, it does not include rap or metal. The album was recorded live with a stellar cast of musicians including Heartbreaker Benmont Tench, Red Hot Chili Pepper Chad Smith, David Hidalgo from Los Lobos and Chavez guitarist Matt Sweeney. It includes collaborations with Bob Seger, Sheryl Crow, Zac Brown, T.I. and Martina McBride. "Born Free" is a great new American classic rock record that challenges the field and is meant to be played from start to finish. The CD does not have a parental warning label.
Kid Rock's last album, "Rock 'N Roll Jesus," released in 2007, debuted at #1 and stayed on the charts for 100 weeks, becoming the biggest selling Rock album of 2008. He has won two American Music Awards and has been nominated for five Grammys, one Academy of Country Music Award, six American Music Awards, three Billboard Music Awards and four MTV Video Music Awards, among others.
Kid Rock has performed for and visited troops overseas numerous times, and remains one of entertainment's most vocal supporters of our soldiers abroad. He supports a variety of philanthropic efforts through the Kid Rock Foundation.
"Born Free" will be available at participating Little Caesars locations for $10 while supplies last.
