Okay so it took me forever to find this thread. LOL
Just wanted to say that Mikey starts his third round of Chemo soon so please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
Yesterday was the 1st anniversary of Mike's death. In his honor I went and had all my hair cut off. I'm still trying to get used to having hair up to my shoulders. But I donated 14 inches to Locks for love, I know he would have liked that idea.
Dillon's been in my heart ... anyone know how he is?

D...I have to second that one! I couldn't tell you who, what is going on around me when I go to the concert! The last show I went to, the 2 people who were with me asked me if I saw the group behind us (supposely having sex)! Uh...no, was watching Kid & TBT play! Don't give a rats ass what is going on around me as long as no one is puking on me or hitting me!

awwwww... Ya'll Rock... One of the best things Kid Rock music does is bring such a huge diverse group together in one place. You can see it at his shows. Bikers, college kids, Mature audiences (lol), cowboys, kids, Big Hair Bitches, nerds, lol you name it we got it!!!!!!!
The fact that people shared their struggles, feelings, experiences, concerns, 'poetry', respect, and cares with each other ~ brought it all straight to my heart. The heaviness i felt just reading their tears on paper (screen), swelled-up in my soul. Angelique, so true, "the Lord gives us something that keeps us congregated music perhaps." What a Blessing to care so much that we can pray with each other, for each other. I am most surely blessed through your love. Thank You to Everyone here, & Big Hugs!

Oh Bell it just breaks my heart to see kids go thru this shit!!!!! As much as we miss our moms and dads and grandparents, At least they had a full life pretty much, But these kids havent even begun to live. tears my heart out and I thank God Everyday for my healthy, bratty kids

Let me add Mikey to the prayer list and Mike's family as the one year anniversary of his death approaches next month.
Mikey is a gorgeous, vibrant 17 year old with Leukemia. When my friend Mike died I just felt broken and battered. Then a friend messaged me on Facebook and said hey you should get to know Mikey (I thought how crazy he even has the same name). I thought okay cool, only to get stopped in my tracks not two months later when he was diagnosed with Leukemia again. I wasn't sure if I was ready to do this again, Mike had only been gone four months. I couldn't turn my back on him, he is such a great kid. So for the last several months I have sat and watched his battle while trying to encourage him. He starts his second round of chemo in a few days and the last round made him miserably sick. Life is about risk and where you love you leave yourself vunerable to hurt. I remember being so sure that Mike would make it. I remember thinking after a 15 hour amputation and tons of super painful radiation he had to live. That he would finally see his dreams of getting married and having kids come true. Mikey is a fighter but he's getting tired of fighting. I ask you to please pray for him as he goes through these next couple of weeks, he's very special.
I will join prayer on Saturday morning, although I pray daily & often for God to watchover all facing lifes difficulties, struggles, battles, tragedy, & loss. If someone needs specific prayer, I am very willing to pray for that person by name individually, daily...along with general prayer for all. Please let me know a name of any one needing specific prayers, and for what. ? ?
You can email me at conniejo58@wildblue.net Unfortunately, I have computer compatibility difficulties participating at Kid Rock's newer websites, by comparison to those of yesteryear. The newer Flash technology, so much of it used on websites these days creates problems for me loading website pages, or loading without errors and funtioning properly. My computer is old, the first and only one I've ever owned...circa 2003. As a result, I don't participate as often as I once did...it's too frustrating and time consuming taking much longer for me to load a page than those with more advanced computers & greater memory capacities.
I have friends of whom I love dearly battling Cancer, or are survivors, both locally and related to Kid Rock's world of fans...such as Angel, and of course Dillon. I lost my dad to Colon Cancer in 1994, and was his caretaker in his final months of life. I am grateful that I don't have Cancer. I do have Lupus, however, which many years ago was thought to be a form of Lukemia, prior to medical advancement and Lupus being isolated as an auto immune disease apart from Lukemia. Lupus has no known cure. It can attack major organs causing death. It also attacks skin and joints, causing disabling arthritis. Lupus is often treated with Chemo when severe. I've not had to undergo Chemo as of yet, but I do face that possibility in the future as my Lupus progresses over time. As such, I can relate some to those facing and battling serious illness' such as various Cancers. Please keep Lupus victims in your prayers also, thanks. ?

I understand this oh so yell, this is a very complicated personal issue, that to be honest requires a lot of hope and prayers!, Please I send out my sympathies and prayers, this is very painful I have watched a few of my friends & family members die from this, some are actually going through this now.

Thank you so much! I will check into that! My supervisor said that the nicotine gum was better now then it use to be. Don't know yet. Waiting to get my paycheck! I just wish it wasn't so damn cold & windy outside! The weatherman said that our area has hit record lowes this past week & coming week! The norm is suppose to be in the low 50's. My thermostat on my back porch hasn't made it above 29 today! WTF! Wearing 3 layers of clothes outside is a pain in my ass!
