Where I grew up, there were no rich people. No bankers, no rightwing titans ranting the poor were lazy and the government was taking all their hard-earned money. Some dads worked for the electric company, others sold insurance or held blue-collar jobs.
also, read Bossy's blog about the meet and greets situation (and fans getting taken advantage of)... sounds like many of those are not set up by KR at all!
I live in SC as well. I haven't heard of any meet and greets. But if I do, you'll know it. I'll shout it from the roof tops! LOL... Oh and bummer about not getting good tickets. I wanted front row to the Greenville show and I got lower bowl. Oh well.. I think the damn scalpers scooped up the front row tickets!

They are almost always threw local radio stations. Call them and ask
They usually post & promote that stuff pretty well before the show. Keep your eyes open, and hopefully someone will say something in advance. I don't know much about how that stuff works, but I've seen them promote those kinds of events pretty close to the date of the show. good luck!
