We were at the Tigers game tonight as the no hitter was happening, I never mentioned it, neither did my son or husband, we know better, but someone didn't cuz Anibal Sanchez pitched an unbelievable game tonight, and was robbed of the no hitter with 2 outs to go in the top of the ninth, by no less than Joe Mauer. UGH, but brilliant pitching by Sanchez. FYI for the baseball newbies, NEVER MENTION NO HITTER WHILE A NO HITTER IS HAPPENING!!! I don't buy into jinxes but I buy into this one.
On Christmas day, it seems I blew the engine on my car. I will be unloading my Kid Rock collectibles, Paradime Collectibles, and TBT Collectibles. There's no reason to work for the man in this wonderful country of ours. Just met with my husbands , now my business partner to go over the details of the new company . He and my spouse ave been working on patents for sometime and he's has quite a few and other ventures and seeing how he has some free time now we decided upon our venture of passive income bringing in about 15 g a day to start. I'm gonna be busy doing the marketing portion since I have all the contacts until it gets going and off the ground and then well, fishing, writing a few songs.

I wanted to reach out to someone and tell you about my recent experience trying to purchase Pre-Sale tickets on Monday 11/22/10, for Kids Birthday Bash at Ford Field on 1/15....
At 2:50p on Monday 11/22, I sat ready at my computer, credit card in hand...ready to purchase 2 tickets to the show.... at 3p the "Buy Tickets" button popped up. After I clicked the button, a page containing the seating chart tried and tried to load... It took several "re-freshes" and several minutes to load... (I have 8g of memory on my computer, so I know it wasn't an issue on my end..."
by the time the seating chart loaded, and I was able to type in how many tickets I wanted, my request came back as, "Sorry, there are not 2 seats available together in that price range...at this time it was about 3:05p.....so I continually tried different sections... same answer "Sorry, there are not 2 seats available together in that price range" and by 3:08 all the repeated requests, and re-waiting for the seating chart to load... everything came back as sold out.....
3:08.....and it appeared all the pre-sale tickets were gone......
I was so disappointed......and extremely peeved that Artist Arena ticketing system wasn't smoother..
The next day I checked ebay, wondering if any of the 1/15 Ford Field tickets had made it on an auction yet...and oh ya ...there were plenty to choose from. Alot of them had section, row numbers, etc... so I pulled up a yahoo search page to see if I could find a Ford Field Seating Chart... While browsing for that, I ran across web sites: gruvr.com, ticketstogo.com . I clicked on gruvr.com... TONS of tickets for the Kid 1/15 show! Tickets that were only supposed to be Pre-sale to FANS. Days before tickets were supposed to be available to the general public (Fri 11/26 10am) ! I couldn't believe it! ...AND, all the tickets I saw, were $100 more per ticket... Click on the "Tickets" button on gruvr.com web page. Towards the bottom of the page on the left hand side it says: " Powered by TicketsNow.... a TicketMaster Company..."
Are you kidding me?! So, let me get this straight.....TicketMaster sells the original ticket, somehow gruvr.com gets a huge amount of pre-sale tickets, they tack on $100 extra per ticket... gruvr.com is run by a Ticketmaster company... Do the math... Ticketmaster is selling the ticket twice. While me, a fan who just wants to see my fave Michigan boy, lost out on 2 pre-sale tickets after just eight minutes of sale...
I was so upset, and disappointed.... Seeing Kid in concert makes the short list, of things in my life that truly make me happy... I am so upset about the whole situation...this is just dirty business... I decided not to buy tickets at all... I am sorry, Kid. I will ALWAYS remain a fan... I have enjoyed listening to your life, thru your music.... Anger, Disappointment, Happiness, Pride...its all there..... But I am going to think twice next time before I try to move mountains to make it to a live show again...

I'm not blaming Kid Rock at all but I got shut out on Toledo,columbus and Dayton with the 2 tickets not ava together and that bumbo jumbo bull crap. I should have known better to waste my 30 bucks on the KRC. Somehow I knew I was NOT going to get tickets but my thoughts were surely not all 3 shows. What a shame. The scalpers win again :( I wonder if I can get my money back from the fan club? I don't see it really doing anything for me. LOL LOL LOL

can't say i blame you at all. i would be really pissed. i just joined the fan club myself in hopes of getting good tixs for his alabama show in february.. wondering if it was a waste of money if it is not going to benefit me any on seeing him in concert. the artist should have more control over who and how his tixs are sold...fan club needs to be a priority...well, to me anyway...

The venue would have to be behind tickmaster getting all these ticket's to begin with. We can only buy 4 ticket's at one time but these scalper's obviously buy a much larger chunk. Kid Rock can set the price's of his ticket's originally but he can't do a damn thing about ticketmaster or a crooked venue selling ticketmaster all the best seat's for a higher profit. He get's paid exactly the same amount for his concert rather we buy a ticket for 42.00 or 400.00. Kid Rock does his best to see we working fan's can afford to come see him. I wish one of these new's show's such as 20/20 would follow where the money goes and how these ticket's get bought up so fast by scalper's.
simple way to fix that each paid congregation member gets an email with a token # like 6man

You aer correct about most of the sites mentioned - they list identical inventory from folks trying to resell tickets. However, you happened to pick gruvr as your example, and gruvr is the ONE site out there actually providing a weapon AGAINST scalpers.
I built it because I was mad just like you, and use gruvr myself to find below-face-value prices.
If you look again, you'll notice a huge difference from the other sites:
Every event page on gruvr tickets (e.g. Kid Rock http://tickets.gruvr.com/band/kid-rock/ ) encourages you to enter an email (no registration required) if prices are too high.

the same thing happened when i tried to get tickets, the damn brokers somehow get there hand on tons of tickets, HOW????? Kid Rock said he takes pride in keeping his ticket prices down, ya right i paid $135 for a 42 dollar ticket and had to get it through Stub Hud, cmon Rock do something about this

This is the very reason I let my membership laps! My tixs at DTE SUCKED! Paid over 600 and could only see Dime's hat. I have emailed KRC about it and I have not gotten a response as of yet. I've seen tix all over the place for this event - yes very pricey! BUT worth every dollar if you are upfront!
I went thru the same disapointing & discusting experience! I will PASS on his 40th Birthday Party that he invited us too-lololol--yeah invite us for big bucks & then screw us over! Hummm--I just am curious if as I see tons of his REAL fans got screwed WHO are the 60.000 he is gonna celebrate with! It';s my birthday too so F HIM!
I had the same issues and I am very upset and discouraged. I was waiting all week to get some of those tickets and now I have to settle for the junky seats I got on friday morning where ticketmaster let me sit there for 10 min after I clicked on my options just to pop up and say that the best available was up in the seats. I attend every concert and this was really a big deal for me and my friends and now its bitter a little. Then in a couple of days all of the tickets that we would have bought as hard serious fans will be on ebay for thousands of dollars and its ridiculous!!!!
I completely feel you pain! Had the very same situation. Sitting with credit card in hand at 2:45 waiting for what seemed like forever. Right at 3:00 I see the "buy tickets" buttons and then the seating chart from hell. It took a full 7 minutes to load. Then, at 3:07, when it finally loaded and let me continue....presale was GONE. I didn't even try on Friday. I knew how it would happen. I didn't know about the shady business with the other websites. That just adds to the disappointment.
I hope I don't go through that trying to get MY pre sale tickets for Nashville. I check everyday to see if they are on sale yet. We used to get a notice in Email which went to a different site instead of Ticketmaster to buy them. I guess I will find out soon enough so far NO email about Pre sale has been sent to me. I won't give up though. My husband 14 yr old and I LOVE Kid Rock and his newest album.
