Please tell me that ticket prices aren't as high as I am seeing. The last concert I went to was way back in the early 80's. Yea I guess some may say I'm old but not old enough not to want to see the best of the best our man Kid Rock. But man when I looked up ticket prices I about died! Someone on Facebook had said maybe around $40 but damn I am seeing $485 for floor tickets. What happened to prices we can all afford and if you get there early enough you may stand on the floor! Damn all my concerts I was on the floor just as close as I could get. Now I can't even get to the door when Kid will be in my town!!! How sad is that. I sure wished the prices weren't so high. The lowest price was $97 and I think that is still to darn high!! I know he is worth every penny but not all people have that many pennys! DAMN! I need to win some tickets!!!!!!!!

Lots of varied prices for sure. Keep in mind this is a one off for his birthday in a stadium. When he starts up his tour a majority of the tix at each show will be 100 bucks each with a few nose bleeds at about 60 bucks.

Prices have been set for Kid Rocks upcoming birthday concert at Ford Field.
Single tickets are $30, $49.50, $75 and $85 for the Jan. 15 extravaganza, a hometown show that will celebrate Rocks 40th birthday while launching the opening leg of his 2011 tour.
Upper-level seats will also be available in six-for-$99 economy packs. On the other end of the scale, VIP packages are $300 apiece, and come with a commemorative football, jersey and exclusive lounge access.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. next Friday through LiveNation.com and Ticketmaster (800-745-3000).
Country maverick and Rock buddy Jamey Johnson will open the show, and other celebrity guests are expected to be on hand for the milestone birthday.
The Monster Jam truck event originally scheduled at Ford Field that night has been moved to Jan. 8. In a press release noting the move, promoters described it as an early birthday gift to Kid Rock. Tickets purchased for the original date will be honored.

If you get your tickets thru the presale at the fanclub, They will be reasonable. KR always trys to Keep The Prices Down TODD> lol
I miss the days when the real fans stood in line, got the tickets early and had good seats. The people in the nose bleed section were there because they didn't get tickets as early instead of being there because they couldn't afford the good seats. I think it's a shame. I also remember when Kid would brag about his tickets being affordable... sure not the case anymore. Of course, when you make your living selling something you want to get what you can for it, right?
Tickets will almost ALWAYS get cheaper as the time gets closer to the show. Ticketmaster is usually the best bet as soon as they go on sale, but there are deals on craigslist/ebay/stubhub, etc. He is playing in big arenas this time around, I can't imagine there wont be affordable tickets.
I am in agreement with a couple other posts..you are seeing the prices of brokers who have them before they go on sale for the fan club or public. I don't get it myself. A gal at work paid 598 bucks for two tickets in floor 1 15th row at JustTickets.com..I love Kid and TBT but I can't pay those prices either. Every Kid Rock show I have been to(and it has been alot) tix have never been over $90, and he always thanks everyone for spending their hard earned money for coming to the show

In the past his tickets averaged 35 - 50 bucks. He used to brag on stage how he knew we all worked hard for our money and wanted to give a great show for a fair dollar. That all seemed to change after the release of RR Jesus with ticket prices jumping up to a whopping 75 to 125 and higher before the brokers. Bigger venues with higher ticket prices mmmmmm that seems fair to the very hard working common folk he is singing about.
He raised his rates apparently. Saw him last year with BonJovi for $100/ticket here in Toronto Canada...and those were good seats. They were selling for as little as $45.
I saw Ticketmaster has them starting at about $50 & $90 each. I think the prices your're seeing are at resellers, they are not face value, they always jack up the prices. You may want to join the KRC fan club sometimes they have pre sales for the concerts & the ticket prices are for face value.
Wow i read your post and was thinking where is she trying to go to this thing at and maybe she is mistaken Ok your not I have seen him many times and I tell you the prices were not close to what I am seeing for Little Rock. We were going to try and hit that one and then the ones here in Mississippi and Memphis and Pensacola but that is not going to happen with those prices and barely being able to survive from month to month isn't looking like I will get to see him not even once now...All I Can say is I hope we sell our house before this concert! Broken hearted!

some of the brokers had ticks for $1900.00 a piece. lol Now thats wild. Most KR tickets lately have been like 50 to 100.
Springsteen and the those guys tho are like 200 plus
