Have tried several different ways to upload a pic for the video contest, unable to. Is anyone else having a problem or am I an idiot?

With the support that Mr. Bob Ritchie has given the military community, I think it would be a great idea to allow the military service folks to be able to show their ID and meet him after the Care shows.... I bet the venues are small enough to manage that... Hey, maybe even offer them a Badass Beer to share with Bobby himself!!

Maria_22's picture

You would never believe how important it would be for me to be an extra in the "Care" video. I would love to show my students and kids what it means to TRY and chase what you want. Our community has had a rough year, too. This would be a little sparkle in an otherwise VERY adverse year for Yale, MI. This high school English TEACHER NEEDS to be an extra. PLEASE

I'm really sorry to see so many people having trouble getting tickets. I hope I dont have that problem when Detroit is announced. But, honestly, I can understand it with the CARE club concert.

Think about it - Kid sells out a 50,000 seat venue in 10 minutes. These venues are 1,000-3,000 seats. Of course they will sell out in a heartbeat! Just because we are members doesn't guarantee us seats. It only gives us access to pre-sales. When there"s a sale starting at 10am, I'm usually on the site and ready at 9:45, clicking refresh until the tickets appear because I cant be positive my computer clock & that of the selling party are in sync, and I dont want to take that chance.

Ive never purchased having to use a code, so cannot comment on that, but the krc has to receive hundredcs or thousands of emails when concerts are announced. I'm sure they cannot personally respond to all

do you REALLY ALLOW posts advertising other stores? On the photo page, under the comments for the Yankees featured photo is a post from lslp84 advertising his/her/its store. I dont like seeing that. I'd put the link here but dont think that post deserves any attention other than to be deleted & the persons membership revoked.

Where is the kid rock poster? I loved it and wanted to order it but can't find it:(

Dude, your music rocks and is awesome. Love "Born Free" CD which really shows your range and diverstity. However, when I'm riding my Harley, I love to Rock and it would be great that you go Old School with your upcoming CD. Keep bringing the great music! Have seen you in concert twice in Milwaukee and you just keep getting better and better. We were Born Free.....so now lets be Born Wild with your new CD.

You have opened up a whole new world of music for me. Sort of like an internet search you led me from where you are now to all you were and those around you. Can not thank you enough. I could be your mother but lustfully keeping you in my heart. Love you baby- from Vegas (formerly Indiana)

Tried to get tix for the Chicago HOB show with the presale code and live nation said that it didn't have that code in their system. Online at 9:59am on Sat. the 15th to get tix. 10am comes and the show is sold out!!! WTF???!!! Yet you can go onto other "ticket brokers" and find tix for 10x their face value. How is it that they have all the tickets when there is supposed to be a two ticket limit picked up at will call only??? Have never missed any of his Chicago shows before. I guess that streak is gone. Check one more up for the GREEDY F$#@! HEADS that want to make money off a show that is supposed to be about giving back to the people.

Just a thought.... Considering the theme and timing of the upcoming shows I was thinking why not ask everyone attending to bring a non perishable food item with them. All you have to do is contact a local organization that collects food to distribute to families in need and they do all the work. Although I try to live by the "pay it forward" rule, I understand that not everyone does so maybe you could give a raffle ticket for each item donated for a chance to meet Kid. Ok, maybe that was pretty big/wishful thinking I 'm sure the greedy grinches would be more than happy with 10% off merchandise or a buck off of a drink, lol. Even though I have been to 4 concerts this year I am EXCITED to be part of the "CARE" movement and will be at the Beacon (and if I'm really good The Fillmore, love the general admission shows I always get front of stage). I would be happy to help in anyway for that show.

Brenda_26's picture

I just wish I could see one more concerts.. But the price of tickets are unbelievable however my best friend bought our tickets for my 50th b-day.. I have seen him once and it was the BEST concert ever.. I was quit far from the stage and said next time I get the chance to go it would have to be FRONT ROW . Im sure I will not be able to afford front row seats on a Car Saleswomen’s salary.. But not bitching I was able to see him once and I will carry that memory for ever.. Thank you Kid Rock..

@ sunnysanabria First i want to thank your husband for his service. You must have got linked up with a scalper site. Kid would not charge those prices for a show. Go to livenation.com and find your date and venue. Click on price range for that show. I just checked it and they were 45- 85 dollars per ticket for nashville.. Sorry you were not able to get tickets. Keep checking as the date gets closer. Some more tickets may get released when they get the stage configuration figured out.

sunnysanabria's picture

my husband is infantry at ft campbell kentucky.. we have been big fans of kid rock for 10 years and have been to 3 of his concerts already... i got on tickets for info on his concert in nashville show and was in total disbelief of the prices onhis tickets. i thought kid was all for the troops.. well then he well knows that military does not get paid for shit.. there wasnt a ticket cheaper than $170 to $770. so for my husband and i to see him now that hes back from afghanistan is a whole paycheck,,, where the love the the soldiers who are serving his country so he can make that much money on a ticket to see him after a whole year of hell!!!! i am in total dis belief and hurt... sunny from 101st AIRBORNE

Ticketmaster sux. They don't even have the Dec 9th show in CA. for sale. I called the venue direct and didn't have to pay and BS fees either, can't wait!! My first time to see you Kid.

DJLor's picture

What, no Detroit shows....what's up???? Please don't forget your hometown....we would watch outside in the winter if we had to. Love you and blessings to you and your family

ilfire's picture

Very disappointed!!!! Same result as you. Tried for days to get a code and no reply from anyone on the KRC site. Sent three emails and no response. Posted many times, again no response. Tried Ticket master and said they were sold out AT 10:00. So glad I joined.

chicagoemsteve's picture

Hopefully something gets done about all these people having problems getting tickets to an awesome show.

chicagoemsteve's picture

At 10:00 am on Saturday 10/15/11 when tickets went on sale for the Chicago Show at the HOUSE OF BLUES they were already sold out. How is this possible? if the tickets went on sale at 10:00am and I was on at 10:00am the concert is sold out on the LIVENATION/TICKETMASTER website. I went on other websites and they are selling alot of the tickets for 5 times as much. I saw one going for $1,000.00 thats outrageous. How can us working people get tickets when these big corporate greedy people buy up the tickets and then sell them for outrageous prices.I never had a problem purchasing tickets before, This is the first.

JIM_16's picture

I was lucky enough to get seats in Atlanta, but can see why they sell out so fast these are very small halls 1000 to 3000 seats, scalpers suck

barby68's picture

I was lucky enough to get presale tickets for the Nashville show, although it took 10 minutes, and I was beginning to think it wasn't going to happen. Had a friend get online right at 10 today and couldn't get tickets at all. Glad I got mine though!!!! :D It's a shame so many are having problems.

jhoppe7's picture

Was so pumped to get tickets to see Kid in Spokane! I have been wanting to see him in concert for years, but it seems I have always missed out or he doesn't make it to the Northwest. What a great birthday present this will be!!! Finally!

Kimberly_56's picture

I've had the same problem with the Chicago House of Blues concert. I got to concert, and I'm def annoyed that I couldn't get tickets.

carriep's picture

I also tried to get tickets for Chicago with no luck. I called and they told me to check back Sat when tiks were open to the public. I did that too only to find out they are only available on Online City Tickets through House of Blues website and ticket prices are jacked way up. I know Kid Rock tries to keep his tickets from getting scalped but somehow the House of blues is selling or has sold them to another venue and they are way out of whack. the cheapest was 265.00 for 2 going up to 900 + for floor tickets. I hope Kid Rock gets wind of this I don't think this is what he intended when he decided to do this concert for his fans. I would love to here back from someone regarding this.

nanette_3's picture

i was on ticketmaster.... internet...along with on the phone...when i finally got thru to speak with someone witrh ticketmaster @ 11:06...chicago's house of blues was already sold out...this sucks!...i tried all day for pre-sales...and no luck!

JavaScott's picture

Not sure why Ticketmaster bothered to "open" tickets for the Chicago House of Blues show if no tickets were available.

Also can't wrap my head around seeing the scalpers have tickets when:

"There is a 2 ticket limit per household.

Tickets purchased are WILL CALL Only. WIll Call Tickets are available for Pick Up Starting at 6:30PM on the day of the show.

There are no alternate pick-ups, Name on the account must match the Credit Card and Photo ID that is presented to the Box Office."

Maybe I am naive, but I don't get how that would work. Seems really shitty all around though.
