I know your are coming to Houston for the Rodeo on March 14th and I will be there for that show - but wanted to know if you will be doing another concert here with Jamey in the upcoming months! Very excited to see you at the show - but looking for the whole concert, not just a few songs!

Please let us know - there are many waiting for that answer!

We'll I was part of the Wichita Ks. show that was almost canceled. And I'm glad the show went ON!!!! You see I have seen KID ROCK 3 times and each time I see him I'm blown away by how much more VERSATILE he gets!!!!! Ya his music speak's for it's self but when you see him and his band in concert you really gain a respect for him and how hard his band works, And I think for people that had not been to one of his shows really got to see how versatile he is the other night!! I thought it was very cool to see KID working his CRAFT with Jamey's band on his song "COWBOY" thats is something i'll remember. I just wanted to Thank him and his band for workn so hard to make this thing a go. It would have been so easy to call it off but thinks for making me one of your biggest fans and Wichita Ks as important as one of your big venues!!! THANKS AGAIN Much RESPECT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok here's my story: The wichita show was my first show for Kid Rock. LOVE HIM..however..because his band was so late (although the Kid was there) and HE did a great job doing covers and makiing the best of it with some other band (country)....once his band got there THAT is when the concert REALLY started and it was so late 10:30 /11:00? I can't help but wonder what the show would have been like had it been the show that was planned..it just felt too short..too little..toooo LATE. I am not unhappy or upset what did occur was great..I drove in questionable weather 4.5 hrs from NW kansas. Hyatt Regency ROCKED shuttling us to the show...I am glad it WASN"T cancelled..but I can't help stop thinking about the show we were suppose to get..what we did pay for? STILL LOVE KID ROCK..he did a great job in a difficult situation..might have to go see the show again to see the Full show!!

I attended the concert last night in Wichita Kansas. This is the 3rd time Kid has been to Wichita and the 3rd time I have had the pleasure of seeing him. Although we had snow and very cold temps, I couldn't not attend. The band was late, but I thought the Jamey Johnson Band did a wonderful job of filling in. I just wanted to say what a great time I had and I can't wait for Kid to come back to Wichita.

Getting concered about my Kansas City tickets purchases through the fan club. They have not arrived yet. Any idea on how soon they might arrive?

friendorfoe's picture

sorry guys i had to go have a tear session and listen to the entire Born Free cd plus a few more.. and yes i'm crying fore sure...

jsnichols3293's picture

I am not really sure. Yes, I am a member of the KRC. I just went back in again and I was able to get third row at this point so they are still good. There are three separate prices for these, 80.50, 100.50 and 150.50. It seems like this is a smaller venue. I have only driven past it on many of my numerous trips from Missouri to Dallas. I hope you can get some or they work out something for last night.

friendorfoe's picture

jsnichols3293, are u a member of the krc and are the tickets cheaper if you are a member?

friendorfoe's picture

Thanks jsnichols3293, i am really happy for you getting the seats! yea the first week of may, being my luck, oklahoma would have a damn tornado, or better yet, the earthquake tremors keep getting stronger, if u read and know your history, the largest earthquake ever was in missouri, and is due to hit again, can you imagine the mississippi river flowing backwards? now there is kr something to sing about! i don't know that i can afford these as i am on disabilty.

(Just after 2:00am on the night of Dec. 16, 1811 an earthquake rolled through the Cherokee Nation and the state of Georgia. Although the epicenter of the quake was in southeast Missouri, the nation's largest ever earthquake shook the entire state, ranging from 300 to 600 miles from the fault. People as far away as Quebec, Canada felt the shock wave that was so powerful that the mighty Mississippi River flowed backwards for three days. Additional earthquakes struck through February 7, 1812.)

I WILL KEEP MY TICKETS UNDER GLASS FOR MY GRANDSON AND WHEN KID ROCK DIES THE STORY AND MEMORABILIA WILL BE HIS GLORY!

jsnichols3293's picture

FriendorFoe, I missed last night as well and am still hoping they do something for it. I just went to the presale for Thackerville and I guess I will just have to pray there is no tornado or other natural disaster. It just sucks when there are things beyond everyone's control. Anyhow, at first it showed there were no tickets available, but I got front row seats for $333 for two of them. I had third row seats last night in the VIP section as well, but I have to just hope for something back. Or, if rescheduled, I will see him twice! Anyhow, you should try the presale as they appear to have good ones this time. It took a while, but I just kept going in over and over and each time they would get better or bounce to a different section. I was shocked when I had front row pop up. Guess this one was meant to be.

add a new feature to the site. a request column so we dont have to endure the absurd requests in all of the other categories. keep all the desperate loons in one category so they can read each others desperate attempts to get something they "think" they are entitled to because they heard a kid rock song on the radio.lol

just a thought

I am a little surprised that people are upset that the concert last night wasn't cancelled. The weather was horrible but its February and it is to be expected. He is the Rock and Roll Jesus but unfortunately has no control over Mother Nature!! I drove to KC Feb 2008 in an ice storm to see him play at the Sprint Center. It may not have been the brightest thing I 've done but I would have to be in a coma to miss a Kid Rock show. I chose to brave the storm and attend the show last night and I am glad he didn't cancel because I had a wonderful time. Thanks for the great show last night, it was AMAZING!!!

friendorfoe's picture

WELL ALL OF OKLAHOMANS THAT MISSED THE SHOW DUE TO THIS WEATHER, I THINK KID ROCK HIMSELF SHOULD LET US SEE HIS SHOW IN THACKERVILLE MAY 6TH, YES HE IS PLAYING AT WINSTAR, MAY 6 BUT THE TICKETS ARE $194 A PIECE, HE SHOULD HONOR OUR TICKETS AND LET US SEE HIM THERE!!!!I

I think its amazing that KR, TBT and all the crew and security managed to get to this show and actually perform! I think it sounds like a unique show, I would have liked to have seen it!
this was posted in the News "collide" discussion, from someone who was at the show last night. I am happy to get a perspective of someone who was there:

I hope to hell Kid Rock reads this post. Just got home from the Wichita concert and I am amazed at the show he put on tonight. TBT was late getting there (because of the horrible snow storm) so Jaimie Johnsons band stepped up and played for him for the first part of the show. I am in awe of the talent I saw tonight at the Intrust Bank Arena. Kid Rock has more talent than any other artist out there. He still brought all the talent and swagger we love even though he was out of his comfort zone. Big props to Jamie Johnson and his band as well, they were awsome!!!! My parents saw you for the first time tonight, they are 62 and 64 and they were blown away!!! Thanks for always putting 150% into your shows. Thats why we love you. Cant wait to see you the 25th in KC, Looking forward to a road trip to rock out with you in KC. Love you and thanks for braving the storm to rock Wichita. Be safe please!!!

So maybe someone should be wondering if the guys are still sitting on the closed Interstate, watching a blizzard out of the front window, wishing they were there too.... Just a thought, that's all
