    Kid Rock "Born Free" Tour Is Coming!

    Kid Rock announces today the first 3 months of his “BORN FREE” tour that comes in support of his new album that hits stores today. The kickoff of the tour comes in the form of a 40th birthday party Kid Rock is throwing for himself with 60,000 of his closest friends, at Detroit’s Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions football team. The stadium will be renamed “40 Field” in honor of the occasion. The special show will include surprise guests and plenty of surprises. Tickets for the Detroit celebration will go on sale November 26th, tickets for the tour will go on sale December 3rd and 4th depending on the market through all the usual outlets.

    As usual Kid Rock will be backed by his own excellent Twisted Brown Trucker Band. Following the Detroit celebration the tour wraps around the country, hitting arenas throughout the country with this first leg of the tour ending March 12th in Memphis, TN. This is just the beginning of a busy touring year for Kid Rock, who plans to add more dates later in the year. The headlining tour will also feature very special guest Jamey Johnson, whose new album “The Guitar Song” has been drawing rave reviews from fans and critics alike.

You put on one of the best live shows ever. Seen you for the 5th time this past weekend in St. Louis, the only downfall was the sound system. We sat in the lawn seating and could barely hear anything back there. Went up and told security and he imformed me he heard this from several people and he was going to go and tell sound crew. Nothing happen, I know not your fault, but wish could have heard you.

Kind of disappointed in you right now. This was the year we were able to get front row seats to your concert! We had VIP tickets, first row directly in front of the stage after years of you coming and us sitting further back just to be able to go to the show, we finally had PERFECT seats or so we thought. Upon greeting the usher to go to our seats, we were told the Fire Marshall had them removed because of some last minute pyrotechnics added by the tour. That Kid Rock was given the choice of his fans or his fire and he chose his fire. All these years our group has enjoy Kid’s music not only because it is awesome, but because he seemed to be one of those people who worked very hard to get where he is, and appreciated his fans. This was a HUGE letdown to us!

Would love to see you again in St Louis Missouri with Sheryl Crow. Had tickets for the July 16th concert and would be the first Kid Rock concert that we have had a chance to see, but my mother-in-law got sick that day and had to be taken to the hospital. So needless to say we had to miss the concert. Looking for another venue that we could possible catch the show at but it doesn't look like it's gonna happen. St. Louis or Peoria would be awsome venues for us to be able to make it to. Hope to see you this way again soon.

Hey there Kid Rock Baby, Just curious to see if you are planning a concert at Pittsburgh, Pa for your BORN FREE TOUR in 2011 ?? I saw you when you came to Pittsburgh for your ROCK-N-ROLL JESUS TOUR............It was the ABSOLUTE BEST CONCERT I've ever seen in my whole life....I will be 43 in April. You put on an AMAZING show and I had the best time of my life at that concert. My husband & I went, he LOVES your southern songs when your sing with Hank Williams Jr, and like Uncle Cracker too. Soooo.....what do you think ??? Do you think you can squeeze a PITTSBURGH, PA concert in, also it would be AWESOME to meet you and party a little, the hubby would have to come with me.....But he is very cool, you 2 remind me alot of each other....he is very down to earth....We were BOTH fans of you when we met almost 8 years ago.....Well, I hope to see you in " The Burgh " God Bless You, ~ ~ Sue Tobac

Hey, Kid Rock. I would love to meet you. My brother was on the USS Cole and saw you in concert when you played for them after the bombing. He said the concert was great. He also got to meet you and said that you were very nice and approachable. I am going to see you in February at the Birmingham concert and would love to know if there is any way/chance that I could meet you. It is really something that I would love to be able to do. Welcome to the 40s Bob! I hope you enjoy this decade of your life as much as I am. I want to Thank You for trying to make affordable tickets available to us in the Detroit Area, I am bummed that those darn scalpers were quicker than those of us working and bought all the tickets. Your tickets are selling for at least 2 times face value! I am a teacher and had my class do an assignment on what percent these thieves are making. It was fun and it really made my kids pay attention to math. Unfortunately, they all want to be scalpers now. : ( Enjoy! BAL
