A half a day later and three tickets in my hand: Oh, so nobody is going to Vegas, huh? Y'all can't be burnt already?
Burnt? Or this post is in the wrong place? Somebody tell me where to connect with Kid mf'n Rockers that are going DOWN! Down to Vegas! I've met up with other fans on just two occasions in the past 10 years. It would be slick if I could in Vegas. Either way I'm sure I'll see some of the KRockers from the site.
Give me a break all of you complainers. My boyfriend left MID MO at 4:30 this AM to drive to KS for his show tonight. If you can not get there and you live in KS, please. YES YOU CAN IF YOU WANT TO... What about someone like my boyfriend that actually DID drive 7 hours to see him, he is there and then he cancels, COME ON.. NOW I am NOT saying that Kid perhaps should not have cancelled this date YESTERDAY, but not at the last minute... TOO many folks are actually there, and I do hope to goodness that everyone is safe, including everyone on here that cares about anyone, Kid and all of his band and everyone else. Loves, Hugs n Kisses
I have tickets as well and am stuck in Missouri. I contemplated leaving yesterday, but couldn't figure out how to get home with the expected conditions on Thursday and Friday. I am sitting in 14 inches of snow at this point in time. Our governor declared a state of emergency, ordered everyone in and called out the National Guard. It is horrendous here. When I called the venue yesterday, they were receiving calls from North Dakota and Texas as well for those attending. I am concerned for the safety of the fans, but also for Kid himself. I understand the devotion of wanting to please the fans, but I think the disappointment of the 3/4 of us who can't make it is terrible as well. I can only imagine the amount of individuals who attempt to make it there this evening, accidents that happen and heaven forbid anyone killed in these conditions. I am truly disappointed. I hope that money is not an issue, but all he has to do is show up. Working in government within economic development I admire him for what he has done for his community and for the support of others. For this he is amazing.
I just hope that some way this could be made up. I would love to be able to see the concert moreso than receiving a refund. I have wanted to see him for years and finally was able to get tickets. I was disappointed when I could not even purchase tickets at a presale or when tickets even went on sale in Kansas City. They were listed for sale prior to it being confirmed as a concert date. For Wichita, it was the same. I had to purchase through stub hub of which I know I won't receive a refund, but the lucky individual who sold them to me would get twice as much. The legality of scalpers is ridiculous and unfair during these economic times. Either way, I will not get to see him tonight and I am thoroughly disappointed. Being the majority won't be there, I would sincerely hope it is rescheduled.
What are you guys complaining about? At least you get to see him! I have to wait until he gets to California and he has NO concert dates listed this year for here....wtf?????
What sucks is in this winter blast we are having here in Kansas ~ the show is still going on-REALLY? Here our governor even declares a state of emergency & this is how he treats his fans. Total bullshit. Why he couldn't postpone the concert for one day is is beyond any of us. His next gig isn't till the 8th. Shame on YOU Kid. Now, I'm stuck at home w/tickets in hand but to do unsurpassable streets & hi-ways, I'm unable to attend. Thanks for nothing :((
As you complain about your safety getting to the concert...Also, remember the safety of Kid, Ty, and Jamie with their bands arriving and departing there... Stop being selfish and think about the reason you are complaining in the first place and be thankful, you are going to see them play...they are all risking alot traveling in this crazy weather to come play for you.. Be nice!
WOW! Really people?! They use to travel hundreds of miles in a covered wagon in weather way worse than this! I live 30miles from Wichita and am just planning on leaving an hour earlier to get there on time. Don't really see that it is that big of a deal! Kid Rock is from Detroit...i'm sure this is nothing compared to what they get there! Grow a pair and head to the concert!
I live near Wichita and just sent a formal complaint. It is completely irresponsible to continue with the concert. The Kansas Governor has declared a state of emergency for many Kansas counties, including Sedgwick County where the concert is to be held. Too many people have invested a considerable amount of money for tickets and deserve to see the concert in SAFE weather conditions. I truly hope the Kid Rock organization reconsiders and puts the safety of the fans as priority and reschedules or cancels the event.
We are also from Oklahoma with Kid Rock Concert Tickets and are completely amazed he hasn't cxd his show. We are curious to know if there is a chance of his show being cxd? because we really don't want to make the drive in unsafe road conditions in Oklahoma and Kansas and then they decide to cancel the show. They have shut down some of our major turnpikes in Oklahoma and my family that lives in Kansas said it is HORRIBLE there. So, does he not have any concern for his fans safety?
I AM VERY UPSET, i have 5 tickets to the kid rock/jamey johnson show in wichita, i can't get there because of the blizzard and i live in central oklahoma. oklahoma has closed the roads making it impossible to get there, i am disabled, have waited and saved my money forever to see Mr. Rock, my kids who both are disabled but live and work in wichita were to accompany my spouse and i, and this was our christmas and we were going to exchange gifts, i couldn't drive up yesterday because i was assisting my 79 year old mother file divorce papers and have her 88 yr old husband removed from her home, i didn't get home until late last night...i had looked forward to seeing him so much, i bought Born Free and love your song "care" linda stuck in miserable oklahoma
ugh. I love Kid Rock, but I'm irritated the concert in Wichita KS has not been canceled or rescheduled due to weather. Everything in Wichita and the surrounding areas has shut down. The parking at Intrust Bank Arena is horrible under normal conditions. Tonite it's forecast -30 degree windchills!! So, we're all going to have to stand out in that while waiting to be searched before entry PLUS how will they really properly search for weapons with all the coats, sweaters, scarves etc people will have on to attempt to keep warm?? If anything for the safety of Kid fans. Think of all the accidents that will occur, then the health risks of being in -30 degree windchills.

BLIZZARD WILL BE HERE TUES NITE. Wichita, KS - - schools are closing; will be 0-5 degrees; colder if you figure the windchill, ice under the snow. PLEASE reschedule. This would be my first time to see Kid Rock, taking both my sons, and my nephew.....But Lord - -this Ks weather......I'm hoping you reschedule.
My best suggestion is to Find Kid Rock security when u get there and explain situation. Dont get hopes up tho. sometimes they have plans months in advance
I am writing in regards to the Feb concert in peoria IL,. My Mother in law is a huge Kid Rock fan! She was diagnosed with cancer 6 months ago. It is aggressive and all over her body and brain. My husband got her tickets to the concert and is going with her. (She will be in a wheelchair,) This concert was one of her last wishes. How do people get to go backstage and meet Kid Rock? She would be absolutely thrilled. They even got her a stretch limo to take her!! Thank you Laurie Alread
I started going to concerts in the early 80's hair bands.But saterday night in Dayton,Ohio was the best show I've ever seen.loved the consert.
Ive never heard of Rock cancelling a show due to weather. Im in colorado and we only have about 4 inches and wichita is just east of us Good luck
With the weather coming to Wichita and 15 to 18 inches of snow on top of the ice now, what are the chances of the show being rescheduled? Wouldn't that be pretty crappy to hold the concert knowing there will be no place to park or to even get there? Some of us had plans to come from 8+ hours away and even thought of leaving today, however, we would be trapped. Do you all ever take that into account when making decisions to cancel concerts? What is the time you all decide by?
Bought my first Kid Rock cd recently after hearing the Born Free song on one of the TV shows. Guess I am from the old school (58), always liked his sound but the subject matter of the songs turned me off. This album only has two songs with the bad words, that I can handle. I Love the song CARE. Our younger generations are influenced by the artist of today, wish more songs could discourage drug use and promote stronger morals and lost values. My 8 yr. old granddaughter loves the new cd and wants me to play it whenever she is in the car with me, but she always says she is not allowed to hear the songs with the bad words, so I skip over them. Just sayin, I think there are artist out there that can make a difference and Kid Rock is one of them.
I looked at the tour dates and saw concerts scheduled for Nashville and Memphis but nothing for East TN. Any plans for Johnson City or Bristol TN?
I have a tavern (bar) that splits two states. Perfect place to cut a video. TENN-TUCKY STATE LINE TAVERN. How do you get this info. to him. I know it's his kind of place.
Rip Off at Screaming Willies...We too also paid $30.00 a pop to get in to Screamin Willies to basically see the entire stage get closed down, drink crappy beer, and see a few strippers/dancers from Kid Rock show dance around on the stage to a few songs. The announcer gave the impression by saying "we still have a few enterainers in the house left" that Kid Rock or Jaimie Johnson was going to start performing after the dancers. I am extremely pissed how this went down and feel we should have a refund.
Kid Rock was awesome though, just wish if he was in fact "there" he could have popped in for a few songs since so many people were lead on.
AMAZING show in Columbus last night!! Couldn't have asked for anything more in a live show. Our only disappointment of the night was that a local bar sent out Twitter notices that Kid and Jamey Johnson were coming there for an after party. The place was jammed with people from the Kid Rock concert and even though it was midnight and the local band were done playing, Screaming Willie's was charging $30 a person to get in for the "special event", telling everyone that Jamey was already there, and Kid was on his way. Obviously not your fault, but thought you may want to know what this establishment did. When everyone started complaining about 1:15am, they acted liked they didn't know what we were talking about. Very sad way to rip off some die hard Kid Rock fans. Can't wait to see you again!!

My girlfriend says that the kid rock camp needs to cater to womens clothing more. she likes sleeveless shirts, and there are only a limited number for her to choose from (one, or two) but she doesnt like the styles of those mentioned.
Looking at who comes to your site i would say 75-80 percent are women, and maybe you should carry more styles of sleeveless shirts, and they sure look better on them in the summer heh heh
