    Kid Rock "Born Free" Tour Is Coming!

    Kid Rock announces today the first 3 months of his “BORN FREE” tour that comes in support of his new album that hits stores today. The kickoff of the tour comes in the form of a 40th birthday party Kid Rock is throwing for himself with 60,000 of his closest friends, at Detroit’s Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions football team. The stadium will be renamed “40 Field” in honor of the occasion. The special show will include surprise guests and plenty of surprises. Tickets for the Detroit celebration will go on sale November 26th, tickets for the tour will go on sale December 3rd and 4th depending on the market through all the usual outlets.

    As usual Kid Rock will be backed by his own excellent Twisted Brown Trucker Band. Following the Detroit celebration the tour wraps around the country, hitting arenas throughout the country with this first leg of the tour ending March 12th in Memphis, TN. This is just the beginning of a busy touring year for Kid Rock, who plans to add more dates later in the year. The headlining tour will also feature very special guest Jamey Johnson, whose new album “The Guitar Song” has been drawing rave reviews from fans and critics alike.

Dammit Man!!! Nice Work on the new album!! It's freaking Hella-Rocking! I recently lived in Detroit/Livonia this past summer and can feel the pride in your music when I saw you at DTE (PINE -KNOB) and with the ZBB. Your music has come so far and getting better each time. Keep'em coming brother!! I hate that I'm gonna miss your B-day bash in Jan. but, sure to see you again soon!! Hopefully catch you again in Detroit...... and party with the home crew! Enjoy the tour!

well, im unable to attend the biggest party of the year due to the greed of some individuals that feel is it okay to buy up all the seats only to resell them at a higher price. I am hoping that someone will be able to one day STOP all this nonsense. It isn't fair to people like myself who can only afford face value on a ticket.. Sorry kid.. unless you have a big heart and a couple tickets in your back pocket that you want to part with, im gonna have to miss your birthday but i do wish you all the best.. now and forever..
