    Kid Rock "Born Free" Tour Is Coming!

    Kid Rock announces today the first 3 months of his “BORN FREE” tour that comes in support of his new album that hits stores today. The kickoff of the tour comes in the form of a 40th birthday party Kid Rock is throwing for himself with 60,000 of his closest friends, at Detroit’s Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions football team. The stadium will be renamed “40 Field” in honor of the occasion. The special show will include surprise guests and plenty of surprises. Tickets for the Detroit celebration will go on sale November 26th, tickets for the tour will go on sale December 3rd and 4th depending on the market through all the usual outlets.

    As usual Kid Rock will be backed by his own excellent Twisted Brown Trucker Band. Following the Detroit celebration the tour wraps around the country, hitting arenas throughout the country with this first leg of the tour ending March 12th in Memphis, TN. This is just the beginning of a busy touring year for Kid Rock, who plans to add more dates later in the year. The headlining tour will also feature very special guest Jamey Johnson, whose new album “The Guitar Song” has been drawing rave reviews from fans and critics alike.

How much of a discount do you get on tickets if you are a fan club member? I love him and like the shirt but is the discount worth the 10 -30 dollars to become a member? I've got two kids and one's birthday is coming up in Dec and then paying for Christmas for both, I have to manage my money wisely!! Any info would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks

We are so excited about the Birthday Bash! My roommate and I have had a not so swell year and wanted an awesome way to start the new one. You just made that possible, thank you. We were robbed twice within a month and had everything taken from us except our pride. Between the two of us in the last 8 months we have had a sister stationed in Afghanistan, a father sent to jail, loss of a job, 2 cars break down, and now another move. This is all after already going through a daughter with cancer and the death of a 31yr old brother in a drunk driving accident. "People get what they deserve" me and my roommate deserve to see your sure to be awesome "bash!" Thanks again!!

Kid Rock, I have been a huge fan since the day back in 1991 I brought your album "Rebel" home and it fuckin' blue my fucking mind.....I am 50 years old now and I have all your albums (yes I bought them, cause you bring it on your albums and I don't mind giving you my money). You totally speak my language, I don't even like celebtity bullshit but you are the only one that I would love to sit down and have a (or a lot) drink with and a doob or three and a line because we are so much alike it blows my mind(of course you are famous and I am not but you and me are kindred spirits) I Know you hardly ever come to California but goddammit please come to cali in the bay area, it seems like you don't like to come to cali, but you do have fans here. I have seen you at Candlestick park, San Jose twice, Clear Lake, and the Fillmore in SF and you are the best mutha fuckin' Live act out there, I don't give a fuck what the critics say, you fuckin' rock.......Not too many musians give me goose bumps anymore but your music does goddammit!!! The first time I took my new wife to see you in San Jose I will never forget when she turned too me and said "Damn now I know why I like this guy so much". Yes!! Finally coming back to Saginaw. Usually every-other-year but I think it's been 2 actually now. So much closer to home for us "up north" people. Your right Margoc, Comerica was crappy. Ford Field will be a little better but still not as good as Saginaw or DTE. I am excited either way!! Nothing like "bawitdaba" live!! The new CD is growing on me a little. Not what I'm used to. Not a whole CD anyway. I'm not a country music fan and some of it is like country and Bob Seger all mixed in.

Probably gonna make it to the Toledo show, I'd like to go to the B-day bash, but hate the huge venues (Comerica sucked) they need to stick to baseball! Hope you do a show at Pine Knob this summer, always have the best time there, never any problems. Been listening to the CD last couple a days, it's growing on me, don't like change, but I'm coming around!
