    Big day today!! I woke up, came to my studio this morning and sat with this very special album that was sent to me from the man himself years ago, that i did not ask for or request. You can imagine how much it means to me and how good it made and STILL makes me feel. I cherish it. And on special days like this, when some critics will trash my new album and some will praise it, I know that this is what its all about. No one can ever take this or Mr. Cash's words from me. Wanted to share it with all of you and say thank you again for your friendship and support. Cant wait to read your feedback on the new album. God Bless you all and God bless saturday too!!! Rock on.

I am humbled by the way you have expressed your life and talent into the music that you sing and write. I, personally, have been listening to you since DEVIL WITHOUT A CAUSE. My wife enjoys some of your stuff and we have 4 children together and they all like your music. I love music....I mean, really LOVE music. My collection ranges from classical to jazz, blues to everything under the sun...except for opera. I pray that you sing and rock right up until your last breath. You are a very talented man and would hope to meet you someday in person so I can shake your hand and tell you thanks. I grew up in the northeastern most county in Indiana..about as close to Detroit as one can get and not be in Michigan...LOL BORN FREE is quite an album/CD, but I like all of your works. Keep strong and sing long!

To your New Album : Thats why we are Fans: you act like us , you live like us and you sing about things who had or can happen to us! I like the new Album cause if it would sound exactly like the Album before and the Album before sounds again like that before why i (we) should buy it? Dont shoot me but for example : If you got one Status Quo CD- You got all ! I quit after my 2 second Quo CDs - nothing new .... So keep on going YOUR way and dont care about the critics - you got a loyal army of fans behind you. greetings Harry

no matter what the experts might say the important thing to remember is what the people think and your southern comfort music just puts me right there from fishing on the banks to sitting in and old rocking chair your music is a mood!!!

I’ve listened to the “Born Free,” album over and over in the past few days. I’m no expert in music and all talent and hard work it takes to be Kid Rock, I’m just a fan. Many people tell me Kid Rock needs to pick a style; because, you never know what you’re going to get. My reply is always the same, you get pure Kid Rock, that is what makes him who he is, real without limitations and chains. I love “Care,” the words are so right on and relatable to me and the feeling I hold. “For the First Time (in a Long Time), has a religious feel to me not as obvious as “When it Rains,” but it there and I like the feel of both of them. I believe religion is an individual connection, and at times the business of religion gets in the way of the “truth.” Well done and delicious break from potatoes! XOXO Laura Sedlock

That says it all..Johnny Cash was respected by generations of fans, but he was a fan of YOURS.My daughters, granddaughter, and I went to your concert together.I'm 62, my daughters are 42 and 34, and my granddaughter is 14. We ALL loved the show.and am looking forward to the next one. Suffered a lot of health problems this year, but am still gonna go. LOVE love Love the new CD. It has a lot of reflections about life that I can relate to. My son-in law has done a lot of set ups for you at your shows for years. He will set up Lions half-time too. Say hi to him if you can...Mark is his name. His daughter Jaelin will be thrilled.

Hi Kid, If there's one comment that you read, I hope it's this one. Your voice is Born Free is so soulful it reminds me of Bob Segar whom I'm a huge fan of! I'm a old soul, but young in age, and my life experiences has made me this way. I can tell you have grown spiritually and I'm so proud that I can feel the gift GOD that has shown up in your heart and into your song. You seem more sure in your faith and your greatfulness of your life and all that you have. Who knows how GOD will use you in the future, yes, little you, he needs vessels to use because he can't come down here himself and do the job he has to work through people. Stay humble and be obediant you have no idea where he can take you. You think you have it all now, no there's more, more rewarding self fullfillment, happiness and unspeakable joy you're yet to embark on. Peace Reverand Kid. Linda

Born Free is a great album and one to listen to over and over again. You should be proud. I think the struggle may be that if follows Rock and Roll Jesus - which is flat-out genius. Musically, lyrically, song flow, sound, energy - it is an emotional journey and for me it can never be on in the background, because it takes over. RRJ ranks up there with my top of all time (in the company of albums like Hotel Califorina, The White Album, Sticky Fingers . . . ). After raising the bar with RRJ, critics are going to look for holes - goes with the territory. Your talent and showmanship are infectious and you will shine through. Born Free is very poignant and your voice is great. You are so talented - trust yourself and your instincts. Who produced RRJ? Wasn't it you? Sorry to ramble. Just a fan (and a new neighbor!) Rock on.

Wow..... Not too many times I can say I love every track on an album but with "Born Free" it's the truth!! Thanks for putting it out there for us, keep up the great work. Loved the CMT documentary too.

Rob (Kid Rock), You and Mr.Cash, have a soul connection.I remember reading Loretta Lynn had chills when she heard what song you picked to sing for her tribute. Loretta said "that was Johney's favorite song of mine, and no one new but me."

That's so cool! My Dad loved the Highwaymen so I grew up hearing all of them. I Love you new album! There's not a song on it that I don't love but My favorite is "Rock Bottom Blues". You have a very special voice and I never get tired of listening to your music.

AWESOME!!! The song Born Free is the song of the year, to me anyways. I lost my little brother in july of this year, and the beginning of the song totally explains the day he passed. He used to buy hats and grow his hair long like Kid Rock, he even got a picture of him with Kid Rock when he was at the Grammys. He sang with the Native American drum group, Black Lodge. The group won best drum group that year they were down at the Grammys(2001 or 2002 i believe). It is just an awesome song, and every time i hear it, it will bring tears to my eyes, because i LOVE and miss my little brother. THANKS for writing this song it will be special to me, it will be m little brothers theme song. THANKS AGAIN!!!!!!
