My dog was born free. I can't wait to check out his ode to Tommy Lee. It's called Move On right? I just ran into an old magazine with Kid and Pam's wedding photo's. I would say it would have been a major red flag for me if my groom showed up dressed like Kid did. And how about Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian were there too like the flies on shit that they are. Did Kid do it to get back at Tommy Lee for not letting him open up for Motley Crue a long while back??? Or did he love Pam? How about the girl he left behind, some model he was dating at the time he married Pam. It's a whole article of how she thought he was so serious about her and broke up with her via text mail to marry Pam. Pam is a trophy. That's our Kid......."I'll put my arm around your neck like we're cool then I'll break it." Hey, we're all born with FREE WILL! He sent that girl back home to Chicago devistaed and it took her a while to recover. HEARTBREAKER! He's so slick in my eyes. But it happens every day, people break up by text mail. I pity the fool who would try to do it to me because I can't even afford to have texting on my phone!!!!! ha,ha,ha! I haven't got that lucky yet! I'd have to tell him to just bark like a dog then break up with me! Ya gotta get at least something out of the deal. They should at least have the balls to abide by a girls final wishes, and to me barking ain't asking that much. Oh and I'll take a growl with that bark, and if you can't just give me a pant.

Here's a comparison I thought of to explain further my opinion of 'Blue Jeans & a Rosary' sung by Kid Rock in my last comment. It's like when you watch a movie and the lead actor is playing a role you can't quite get into because he doesn't fit the part, hahaha...or you've seen that actor in several other movies of which the character is always a similar personality, but then attempts to play a roll totally opposite of what he's always played in the past. Imagine Tom Hanks playing Hannibal Lector for instance, lol.

Oh, I'm so in agreement!! So Hott is likely my favorite song off R&R Jesus to dance to, my body just feels the beat much like it does with Bawitdaba, but I don't headbang to So Hott, haha. I also love to dance to New Orleans, and totally love Kid's voice singing Blues. There are 'Country' songs Kid's recorded I do love, "Last Stand in Open Country" with Willie, as well as Luckenback with Chesney...I even admit to loving Picture, as long as it's Cheryl, LeAnn Rimes, or Stef Eulinberg performing live with Kid singing Picture. I sure miss Stef singing Picture with Kid like they did a few years back on tour...as it gave us the rare opportunity to appreciate Steps talented & awesome voice!

Y'all are probably gonna want to shoot me for admitting this, haha...but truthfully, I'm not a fan of 'Blue Jeans and a Rosary'. I love the song, the lyrics, and even Kid's voice singing it...it's a great song, but..."if it's real you'll feel it"...and I just don't feel it with Kid singing it. I don't feel or hear any emotion when he sings it. I'm accustomed to "feeling" Kid singing songs related to his life on a personal level, I can hear the emotion in his voice, and my heart 'feel's it'. I just don't buy into the lyrics of "Blue Jeans & a Rosary" with Kid singing it, because I can't envision a good hearted 'roadside bar' woman wearing blue jeans and a rosary capturing Kid Rock's heart for life, his settling down, feeling so intensely about her as he sings in the song. Anything is possible of course, but I can't see it happening...it's a fictionary song, which is exactly why Kid sings it without the emotion as he does in songs he personally experienced, real life events.

So Hott, Sugar, Low Life, Amen, Roll On, Rock n Roll Jesus, Guilty, All Summer Long, New Orleans...are my personal fav's on R&R Jesus...they relate to Kid Rock on a personal level, or at least close enough that I 'feel' them, they feel like Kid Rock's personality, beliefs or pri

I hope its going to be more a Rock/blues style album and not in the direction of Bon Jovi although i do like some song from BJ ,wanted dead or alive is a great song ,he teamed up with BJ so that is a chance,am not much into country wanne hear great guitar solos,Slash maybe returning the favor ?
But the important thing to me is new stuff is comming out and hopefully a European tour ?

Connie Jo said:I agree with you totally Angel...reverting back to "sexy & raunchy" lyrics is just that, 'reverting back'...not moving forward. There are enough of those already, more becomes repeticious, same ole same ole. That said, I prefer the newer songs be upbeat Rock n Roll, or Southern Rock...more than Country ballads...there's enough of those around already too, hahaha. I NEED THE ROCK N ROLL JESUS TO REVIVE ROCK N ROLL!! :)

Regardless of genre, Kid can certainly pull it off, especially when his 'heart' is in it. :)

KidRockAngel said:I totally understand peeps wanting new hard sexy Raunchy lyrics But he has given us albums full of those that we can listen to anytime we want. Hes not getting any younger and its time to make bank. Time to appeal to the masses and get radio play....Personally, I would like to see a sizzling HOTT video with bedroom scenes and motorcycle scenes. Give us ladies what we want, Hot body, sexy blue eyes, singing us into oblivion!!!!!!!And do it while you still have a Hot Body and sexy eyes lol

If I had my Kid Rock Dream album, It would be half Hard Rock Like So Hott only more. lol 1/4 Hip Hop and 1/4 Blues

Connie Jo said:Yeah, everyone is saying the same thing...they relate the title to the Oscar winning movie and original soundtrack, the Lions. Maybe the title isn't 'that' important, I dunno...but personally I liked 'Kid Rock's American Circus' better...it seems more suited to the better known fun side of his personality as well, more upbeat, energetic. Oh well, surely Rubin & Kid Rock know the industry best.KidRockAngel said:T.I. and Martina. HMMMMMM should be interesting. All i can think is

Kid Rock to launch new album Sept 7
Adam Graham / Detroit News Pop Music Writer
Detroit -- Kid Rock is prepping a Sept. 7 launch for his new album, which he says will be called "Born Free."

Rock's first album since 2007's "Rock N Roll Jesus" was produced by Rick Rubin. First single "Born Free" will be released in late June, Rock said Saturday during his visit to Detroit's Movement festival.

Among the songs slated for the album are "Care," which features Martina McBride and T.I., "Flying High," which features Zac Brown, and "Collide," featuring Sheryl Crow. "Collide" also features none other than Bob Seger

"I asked him to be on the track and he didn't call me back," Rock said of the Seger duet. "I started getting really nervous, and then a couple days later he showed up at the studio, by himself. I said, 'Bob, why didn't you call? I didn't think you were going to do it!' He said, 'I was practicing.'"

Rock calls "Care" a "monster," and says T.I. and McBride were unaware of each other before the duet. What they have in common, it seems, is a friendship with Kid Rock.

"I'm the catalyst for everything," Rock said, between puffs of a cigar.

Prior to the new album's release, Rock will play three sold-out shows at DTE Energy Music Theatre, Aug. 13, 14 and 15.

Rock's Made in Detroit clothing company is sponsoring one of Movement's five stages.
