No doubt it will take hours for them to accomplish the goal of meeting & taking a photo with approximately 1800 admiring fans aboard the ship. I didn't think I could gain any more respect for Kid & TBT than what I already held, but I was wrong...my respect for them as a fan continues to grow with each year I've been a loyal fan, which is a decade long now.
That said, I've had the honor and privilege of meeting & chatting some with Kid Rock in the past, and there really is nothing I can think of to say to him that is ofgreat importance or significance. Therefore, the thought occurred to me earlier this evening...of the many fan clubthreads I've read over the years relating to what fans would say to Kid Rock in particular, but TBT as well...if given the opportunity. I know there are many fans of which would love to be aboard the Chillin The Most Cruise, that for whatever reason are unable to. I wish we all could be aboard, however...that is in a perfect world.
With reflecting upon those past discussions related to meeting Kid Rock and what one would say to him...I thought of starting this discussion thread here at the fan club...offering each of you not able to go on the cruise, a chance to say something to Kid Rock in particular, but also TBT. My idea is for you to post your message to Kid and TBT in this thread, please keep all replies to the point, not replying to one anothers posts in this thread...as I intend to print the entire thread and hand it to Kid Rock personally, and will take additional copies to TBT also, assuming there may be messages for the band as well.
I have heard that Kid Rock keeps all things given to him by his fans, and assume that will be the case with the printed thread of personal fan messages to him. I assume he will at some point read through all the messages when appropriate, possibly after the cruise and in his more leisurely alone time.
So here's your chance my fellow loyal Kid Rock fans...say what you want to Kid Rock and TBT, andI give you my wordit will be personally delivered to them by me when I'm given my 'fan' opportunity aboard the Chillin Ship to meet Kid Rock and TBT...no middle ground, no mail sorting, etc....rather your message hand delivered in person by me, and you are assured it will be receivedby the man and his band directly. :)
I intend to print this thread Tuesday evening some time, as I fly to Tampa Wednesday morning the 28th.

All I can say is thank you for everything. Your music has helped me through rough times. 2009 was a tough year for me personally. I was injured at work and found myself nervous about what would happen in the future (like trying to find a job in Michigan). I found happiness and comfort in your music and baseball; I am a die-hard Tigers fan. Seeing you on Opening Day with the Tigers was something I will not forget. I suddenly realized everything might be ok. Everyone was cheering and having fun and all my problems were gone. Then you performed at Comerica Park and introduced the song "In Times Like These" and it hit home. I want to thank you for everything you do for Detroit and Michigan. You are a hometown hero and even in rough times in Michigan you are still here rooting on the Wings, Tigers and Pistons and randomly showing up at artist shows (Bon Jovi, Martina ect.) Thank you for your music and just staying you and keeping it real.

I think that you are a great man in every thing that you do for the people!! I like that you are a straight up guy that gets right to the point and doesn't pussy foot around!! You say what you gotta say and carry on. So when are you gonna be the president?? I have 4 of your shows under my belt and looking forward to seeing you again...I keep listening to WRIF hoping they announce it soon. I wanted to say thank you for all the joy you have brought into my life. Your music has been there when there was no one else was. Your music has been with me while walked away 90 pounds (no one else wanted to go, lol). I've never been to a concert but you are an important part of my life. I love music and Kid Rock and TBT go everywhere I go. For over 10+ years now. It's funny. When given the opportunity to say what I really want to say, I find myself at a loss. All the hard times, and all the good times, you've been a part of that and I couldn't have done it without you. When I didn't think I could take another step, pop on the music and off I go...That's the truth from my heart.

On a personal note, Please know that your music helped me get thru My chemotheraphy and Radiation this last year for Breast cancer. And with American Bad Ass playing loudly in the Cancer center, I think we picked up a few new fans. lol

Dear Kid, I can't believe I missed out on such an opportunity to be privleged enough to be on a cruise ship with you and your band. I'm actually sea sick just thinking about how much fun it would be to be there! Maybe someday I will get to meet you again on solid backstage ground or possibly another cruise.
