Love when the arenas, be it The Joe, Palace, Ford Field, or Comerica, play Boston's 'Can't stop Believing.' Each and every fan stands up and sings at the top of their lungs. "BORN AND RAISED IN SOUTH DETROIT." We have a Southwest side and a Southeast side, we have a Northwest and a Northeast side, but no South Detroit, that is why we sing that so loud, cuz our South Detroit neighbors are actually our fine neighbors whom live in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. So proud of the Wings tonight. WOW, we have to keep this game going. GO WINGS!!!
So... dam sexy... just is not right... LOL, have only been to 1 of his concerts in Detroit, but what a show... wish I could of been right up close.... makes you feel like he is singing right to you... very much connects... hope he is recording for years to come...
that is such an awesome and cute story.
in many forums, people are unhappy, needy and jealous, but as of the short time i am still trying to find my way around here, you people seem different!!!
i like when people are happy for the good things given and happening to others.
keep it up and i wish you all the fun during the upcoming gigs and enjoy all the good deeds and treats, listed here!

I feel TBT is the same exact way... as I've had times with them in the past, and one member in particular has my heart in his hands.. as he tells me it's all about you guys, his fans, and how much he truly loves his fans. Quite a mushy moment.. but WOW.. I melt thinking about it. Mind you, we never met Bob.. up until now on 2010 cruise, we finally had the opportunity to feel his warmth, as well. After we met him for the precruise picture, and another time late Friday night when I got a hug, Bob said something on stage at his late night Saturday night DJ party on the Lido deck in front of the whole crowd regarding my husband and I, personally, that I will never-ever forget. It left us speechless, and me in tears for days.. lemme tell ya..lol... and this was after all the tears with Connie and I. Trust me when I say.. I was all cried out...lol But anyway, I can only agree with you 100+ percent, not only does he personalize with his fans... but he does some truly amazing unselfish acts of kindness to 100s of folks. One of the biggest examples is year after year, they give up their holiday for our troops overseas. Seeing kind ppl doing kind things jus
When Bob said that,I knew right away who he was talking about,I looked around for Becky & saw the tears .It was truly beautiful the way he said it!

"give a lil bit more then you got to give" And to top it all off.. their fans are just as sweet as they are. Truly an amazing thing I love being apart of.Can't wait for the next adventure : )Cr
His style-take me for who I am, down to earth, loves life and people and his diversity.
I truely think overall talent...to be blessed to play so many instruments and to entertain so many in differrent ways.Wish it was me when I'm on that assembly line!
He is kind, giving and gracious...and if he is truly at the Gulf Shores Jimmy Buffet Event tonight, I for one am extremely grateful and will have have even greater respect for him. This whole Gulf disaster has upset me in so many personal ways I hate to even think about it. It is a crime what happen, It breaks my heart.

:-) we all are who we are... and i believe, we should accept people as they are.
take it as it is, or just leave it if it doesnt fit. :-)
thanks for the question conny and i do love all of those answers!!! big joy to read them all.
cheers.
At first, it was his voice, it instantly attracted me to his music......but now, after being a fan for awhile, it's so much more than just his voice, his talent, his drive, it's everything everyone mentioned and more. But, I think the biggest admiration I have for him now would have to be him being a father. Something about a father hopelessly putting his son above all else just melts me.

Yes I agree Connie Jo, about his voice,,,,if his voice didn't mature, from the first material I heard way back in the day, even before EMSP( Always liked his sound and words yet it got to sound good and liked his outlook) guaranteed I wouldn't still be listening to him to current day.
Wasn't from the "D" never my playground just appreciated alot of artists that came from there. So if any take this wrong then you just don't understand what I am saying.
His voice is just getting better every album, very happy for him and wish him much success in his upcoming release!
Have a good weekend!
Ha ha I like it, just watch when I throw it hard with some heat. We could have a good catch. LOL

When I first heard Kid Rock, was when my friend from Germany was visiting in 2000, and he played DWAC for me. I didn't know who Kid Rock was, let alone anything about him, nor what he even looked like, haha. Well, then one day while watching football...I see this Coor's Commercial, and Kid Rock is singing 'Somebody's Gotta Feel This' as he's in the stands with fans. That was the first time I ever saw what Kid Rock looked like, haha. I recognized the song of course, because it's on DWAC. The DWAC I had was a CD-R at the time, given to me by my friend. His attitude and energy then appealed to me after seeing him in that commercial, and I began to consider attending a live concert.
Though I'd been a fan since 2000, I'd not attended a concert...I thought I was too old, and most his fans would be in their 20's or so, but hell, I was only in my early 40's then, haha. It was after I joined KRAA in late 2003 I discovered the majority of his fans were in their 30's & 40's, rather not their 20's...and off to my first concert I did go...celebrating my soon to be 46th birthday, lol. Needless to say, the first Kid Rock concert blows any one away, and I was hooked...for life on the man & his band. YEEHAW! And oh what a ride it's been, and will continue to be...I ain't stopping till I'm forced to stop, haha.

His soul is the first thing that comes to my mind! He's deep and he gets it!
I've always loved his love for our state, and the fact that he stays here, and supports our state (and troops,) Integrity just shines through.

He's real!
I believe it was/is his mom whom Kid inherits his compassion for others from. I think it's obvious he's a "momma's boy"...not in a wimp sense, haha...but it appears from how often he mentions his mom when talking about his family, memories, or in general conversation...that he's close to his mom. He compliments her often, and his love & respect for her comes across loud & clear...at least in my opinion it does, based upon paying attention to details over the years of who Kid is in heart.
