received an update about Kid Rock's Chillin' the Most Cruise
2011. Bookings are now on sale to the public.

    Alumni guests and
fan club members had first dibs at cabins, so there are less than 100

Has to keep in touch with his grandparents, he's their main care giver now. Thanks for the warning though, we have stepped into that one before but have learned via past experience.

Thank you Miss Beckxy, too:) Tell your hubby to just wait for you...go snorkle, it will be a treasured memory, it's inexpensive and you can kill literally hours of time and not even know it.

I will take credit for giving much attention to promoting our group hotel to cruisers at the related websites, updating info when needed, answering questions at Facebook both in comments & messages, as well as at the cruise website and here too, then tons of emails as well. It was/is easily a full time job...with some issues arising now & then for a few people booking needing special accomodations for one reason or another, but the hotel and I were able to resolve everyones issues and/or concerns with booking.I enjoy doing things like this though, and there's a certain amount of gratification with helping to resolve issues & problems for others too. Besides, there may be a bonus I didn't think of in the beginning with my helping...that is, if I make it on the boat as planned, and every one buys me a drink who says they're gonna as a reward for my helping them book rooms...I'm gonna be one buzzed cruiser! I would like to make use of this opportunity, hahaha...to say, that as of Monday this week we did sell out our Kid Rock 2011 Cruise discounted group block of 50 hotel rooms, at the Hampton Inn in New Orleans. I spoke with my contact person at the Hampton Inn today, and fortunately they are able at this early date, to increase our room block from 50 to 75!! I do know a couple more have booked since then, but we should have at least 20 more rooms now available. We sold out 50 rooms in two weeks y'all!! The hotel was impressed, well...we're Kid Rock fans, we ROCK!!...it's that simple y'all, hahaha. :)
