Is the one I never got.
The show was kick-ass.. had the best time. Our drive to and back took up most of the time.. going 1300 miles in 2 days and time enough to get to the hotel by 4pm see the show and head back in the morning. I gotten a lot of shit from ppl at work saying.. girl you are crazy.. but they just don't know what it's like to be a fan and miss out on the biggest weekend for Kid Rock fans.. so we did it.. just in time to go back to work : )
I'm not sure because I don't follow this guy much... but I think David Arquette came out in the beginning and introduced them onto the stage. We didn't take any pictures. We had our first ever Bad Ass Beer.
The Show was Awesome. We got down to the rocking ones and embraced the slower ones. I could really feel the embrace of the hometown spirit with "Times Like These". And Shannon gave me goosebumps playing the song note for note on the solo for picture on Marlon's guitar. I like that she sings the song her way now.. and it totally makes her sound 100% better at it with confidence. Love rocking it out to the old favorites like DWAC, Cowboy, Bawitdaba, RnR Pain Train. Dig the new song about Saturday Night : ) Takes me back to us being on the boat m.f.er.
But, most of all I enjoyed spending the time with our long time friend Scott.. who really threw down at the show and had a great time. However I was very bummed there was not enough time for all our friends or new friends I wanted to meet up with.. there was not time to even hang before the show.. and we missed out on Ty Stone.
Born Free.. feel good patriotic song.. I think it would be a great summer song for 4th of July, camping, and backyard parties with fireworks.
Good Times.. only wish it would of lasted longer : (
