Big day today!! I woke up, came to my studio this morning and sat with this very special album that was sent to me from the man himself years ago, that i did not ask for or request. You can imagine how much it means to me and how good it made and STILL makes me feel. I cherish it. And on special days like this, when some critics will trash my new album and some will praise it, I know that this is what its all about. No one can ever take this or Mr. Cash's words from me. Wanted to share it with all of you and say thank you again for your friendship and support. Cant wait to read your feedback on the new album. God Bless you all and God bless saturday too!!! Rock on.

Well, I went out at lunch to get the CD and I listened to it at my desk...once again, another GREAT album!!! Thank you....thank you for putting out great music we all love to hear, thank you for always supporting the "D", and most importantly, thank you for supporting our troops! As someone on an earlier post said, can't wait to meet you on the cruise in April!!!!

Wow, what wonderful, heartfelt and kind words. Thank you for sharing this great picture with us and telling us about it and about your feelings. Nobody will ever take that away from you and your love of music and your caring can be felt in every song you sing. I already got the new album last friday here in Germany and it's accompanies me since then. It's a wonderful and really heartfelt album and I still don't know which song I love most because they're all so beautiful. Don't let critics ever get to you because most of them are just jealous because you can do something they can't. You can let your heart and soul speak to us through your songs. That's a gift only few people have in this world. Keep on Rocking Bobby!

I've sat here for five minutes trying to put what I want to say into words. First off THANK YOU, for being yourself and making the music that is in your heart. Truth and honestly cannot be faked, a person can sing a song a million times. If their heart isn't in it than it will fall short. Something you have never been short on is heart or try. When I first listened to Devil without a cause all those years ago. I got chills, I guess I have been a music freak all my life. If I had to choose between talking and hearing I would rather hear. I realize then I came in late on your career but I still remember sitting there thinking, the tides are turning. I knew then that you would change the face of music for the better. It has been a fun ride growing up and raising my own kids while following your career. This new album, I sat and listened and jammed right away. I was loving every minute of it until When it rains started. I bawled, for you and the loss of a friend you loved. For everyone else who had suffered such a loss and for myself. I was only 17 when I lost a friend I loved dearly. Then I listened to the rest of the album and quite simply fell in love with it. I am not a music critic, I'm a music lover. All these years later I sat listening to the album with chills. The tides are turning yet again and the impact is going to be huge. I am so proud of you and this album that my friends think I have gone crazy. Then they listen to the album and see crazy I am not. It's a FANTASTIC new album and sits perfectly beside every single album you have ever done. Much love from Ohio, Keep Rockin'!!

Afternoon Bob, I gotta sit here and smirk. Just saw the documentary, and it was only just yesterday that I thought to myself, how cool would it be, to kick it around a fire, have some drinks and have you possibly play some tunes on your accoustic. Pipe dreamin about you being there, ofcourse, but always there on the radio! Got the new album on now, so far, I've gotta say I like it, I like the change. Thanks for bringing some more good heart pumpin, warm feeling country boy music our way. It may not mean much comin from me, but awesome job with your son, got a daughter the same age and it sure ain't easy! Look forward to seeing you next time round here in Mass. ~G

Hi Bobby! I received my pre-ordered Born Free CD on Saturday! Absolutely love it!! Thank you. Thank you for sharing your talent and your love for music, and loving your fans! I've only been a fan since I saw you at the 2008 LA Invasion... but I've been hooked since! So hooked, I've traveled the nation 15 times to see you in concert. The 2010 Cruise was awesome and I thank you for that too. I will see you again on the 2011 Cruise as well. Can't wait! You are so REAL and make such a difference in my life. I've lost 2 very close family members recently, and your music has kept me strong and feeling blessed. God bless you! I love everything about you! Love, DebRock xoxox

Good Day Bob~ Just got home, left the house right before 8 AM today. Ran to Target & FYE, the poster with the FYE purchase is sweet & double sided. I have so many copies of "Born Free" and I am VERY HAPPY with them ALL. Looking forward to receiving the four track cd I ordered that last night online, looks like there's some KooL stuff on that as well. Here's my review on "Born Free", it's absolutely UR best work to date. My favorite song is still "For The First Time (In A Long Time)", "Rock On" & "Collide" are my second favorites. I love how U took chances with UR new album, and I know it's going to be played for decades to come. I am so happy to be a part of UR life. I love TBT. I love UR whole crew too. Lets chat n' catch up soon. Looking forward to seeing the show LIVE, miss U all dearly. ~XOXO~ ~Peace, Luv & Rock n' Roll~ SherZ

Love the new album!! Being born and raised in Texas, I am not a big fan of country music but you may have converted me. I have been a fan of yours from the beginning of your career and you absolutely blow me away with your talent!!! The new album is what I really think is deep down in your heart. I see your evolution as a man in the evolution of your music!! It doesn't matter what the critics think, it all about what makes you happy. Keep it coming!!

no question, its about the music; the relationship between the artist and the music, and also the fans and the music. The words of the critics are ephemera and don't last, but the music will. For all my bitching and moaning at times (because I enjoy a good critical discussion of art), I've listened to Kid Rock music for years and will continue to do so. The range, style, seriousness, and humor of KR music moves me like no other. I'm very much looking forward to the next tour.

The new album is FANTASTIC!!! I was waiting anxiously for it to come in, i pre-ordered it about a month ago. I recently lost my husband, Rob, in a motorcycle accident and when I heard the song Born Free it made me think of him... THANK YOU!!! We have always been huge fans of yours and got to see you last summer at the Rock and Rebels tour here in Tampa FL, what an amazing show! Thank you for keeping it real, making awesome music and taking pride in this wonderful country. Thank you and GOD bless!!!

Good Morning to you Bob ~~~ Thank you for sharing your life and time with us :) Just half hour ago, I was driving listening to "Slow My Roll" ~ with chills running through me. I started thinking about my husband who passed away 10 years ago / He lived his life like a RockStar.. & Joe C passed ten years ago today. Then I thought about your 'roots' and no wonder you're moving into Country...You listened to Johnny Cash (and others) as a child. So did I, on the farm. I remember one time, I was playing the 78 of "Sunday Morning Coming Down" with the 'arm' up. I fell asleep listening to it over and over, in the livingroom. Three 1/2 hours later, when I woke up, it was still playing. My grandma never turned the record-player off. Thank you for listening, Bob. "And may the good Lord God bless you..." ~

Bob! You've hit this one out of the park! Only complaint is that we needed to hear Bob Seger sing! Piano? (shrug) No worries though. Maybe next time. Martina Mcbride has the voice of an angel! Dear God! Sheryl Crowe always makes me smile! Your vocal work on "Care" and "For The First Time (in a long time)" is terrific. It's way different, and caught me completely off guard. The band sounds great and the writing is, as always, on point! I would be a terrible music critic of your music because I dig it all. I'm completely impartial!

Hi Bob, I've always loved the "softer" side of you. Blue Jeans and a Rosary is one of my favourtes so this new CD is one that I love!! Saw you at the DTE performing some of your new songs last summer and knew this CD would be a great one! Still love the bad ass stuff too and always! Thanks for being you...REAL as ever! Kid Rock's new cd is an exceptional piece of art. The country music industry needs to take note of this cd and start playing it now! Kid Rock has done a great job of injecting his classic "Kid Rock" sound into a cd the whole family and all airwaves can play and enjoy! I'm proud of you!!! Keep up the good work.
