Hello Kid Rock I lost my fiance on Nov.22, I believe he was one of your biggest fans.Every song you sung related to him in some way or another. He was listening to Only God Knows Why when he went off the road that night and lost his life,my daughter in law was in there with him, but she survived thank god.Your song Blue Jeans and Roseary was him, he had to live home at fifteen,he was the black shep of the family. He would always tell me i was his angle who rescued him, but i am from Miss. not Tn.I was happy with a bad seed and i miss him very much.Me and his sister will be at your concert in Memphis on March 12, it would be a dream come true to get to meet you. His name is Timothy Wiley,he use to always say he would like to party with you just one time cause you had so much in common he is a wonderful man the best i ever meet.Thanks for singing songs we all can relate to in one way or another.You were his idol.........

Hello Kid Rock I just want to thank you for the Born Free CD. My friend and companion died on Nov 1 from a hard life of too many drugs, women, and booze. I wish I had been able to play the CD for him because the words in most of the songs describe him and his philosophy about life. I am sorry to loose him but know he is at peace now and out of pain. His 4 children and 3 grandkids listen to the CD and we plan to use the song Born Free with a compilation of photos of his life set to the music for his celebration of life when his ashes go to the ocean. I am asking for your permission to use your song in his celebration of life. Thank you and also THANK YOU for the ZACK BROWN BAND!!! missodi60

I am really amazed at the new cd! Once again I am deeply moved by the words you have written. Most people don't even really take the time to hear what the words are saying. I am proud of you and all the decisions you have made in turning your life around. I am touched most by the song "Rock On"...I have a 25 year old cousin that has been through so much the past year and a half and these words seem to comfort me for her. She has been popped for meth, had a baby, failed her probation, back to jail, baby died while she was in jail, released, failed probation again and is now back in. Sounds confusing I know. Now she is facing 12 years in the big house. I look at it as a blessing in some way that we have not had to lay her to rest also!! God in Heaven is looking out for her! I pray that she will get the therapy and rehab she needs and the words to this song just seems like the ones she needs to hear. Thanks for writing the way you have and keep us in your prayers also. Thanks for all you do! Sincerely Nina!!

Kid Rock, Good evening, I just wanted to take a moment and thank you for letting the military download your album for free (limited time). I have listened to the album numerous times already and continuing to listen to it as we speak; I must say you have outdone yourself this time because every track is worth mentioning, thank you for sharing your music, feelings, soul, and most of all generosity with the world. Your music keeps me awake when I'm on a road trip because I feel it, I love it! Thank you! Lastly, if I may... Kid Rock (2003) was such a wonderful album I can't even begin to say great things about it and thus this album is equally phenomenal. I used to run next to the Gulf in Mississippi, kicking up sand, and listen to that album as the water radiated near me. I am taken back to that place while listening to your new album, I can't help to think of where this album will take me because I'll sure listen to it at the end of the month when I drive from Tokyo to Osaka. That totally sucks. I bought my Born Free CD 2 days after it came out, paid $13.00 and got just the cd. It is awesome and I am not complaining... jus sayin.. but, that's how my luck always goes... a Kid Rock poster would have been an added +++

Don't you people get it? I don't see an offer for the people to purchase this or much other of Kid's music on "ITUNES"! How refreshing. Kind of like Pearl Jam boycotting Ticketmaster. All this time I thought the Amazon $3.99 offer was just for the one song "Born Free" .....Guess I should have clicked on it BEFORE I went out and bought both new CD"s ;) LOL But still glad I got them...I went to Meijers and also got "Racing Father Time" which I think I like even more than Born Free! You should offer Racing Father Time somewhere here on your website! ? Its an awesome CD! Guess I'll h ave to go to Target now so I can get the DVD too! ;) I'm just wondering why the first 3 songs on R.F.T. just didn't get put on the Born Free album????? Why the 2 different CD's?

I received a very dear package in the mail today and listened to the entire album this evening. To be very honest, it's not a typical Kid Rock cd. I knew that when I heard the Born Free single on the boat. But....when it's real you feel it. I applaud you Mr. Ritchie! Well done. I felt like I had a true grasp of where you are in your life right now and the path you are taking. When I listen to music, I usually just want to tune out the world. Love the album, however I purchased 2 copies @ Target on the 16th & neither of them contain the 2 bonus tracks or the DVD. Its a bummer I didn't get what was advertised, but I still love the album.

I just watched an interview with Kid and he talked about how he was in touch with the working class. I hope he holds the record company accountable for screwing all of us fans who supported the pre-sale. It is no wonder why people steal music when record companies screw people over.

You know what, I hope Kid Rock does read this board. Your new company handling things really sucks. Really. Isn't it bad enough they screwed us early buyers out of 6.00 but do they have to keep sending emails pointing that out? Over and fucking over sending emails offering the download for the 3.99? I get it, you all rewarded us early buyers by ripping us off (and that will NEVER) happen again, but, stop sending the damn emails already. I was really looking forward to having the download. I have enjoyed the early listens. But, now I don't care if I hear any of it again. Thanks so much for ruining this for a long time fan.

I'm pretty pissed off that I preordered for $9.99 and now find out I can get it at Amazon for $3.99. WTF is up with that? I love Kid Rock & all, but I definitely need my $$$ more than he does. I won't ever show early support again.
