On Christmas day, it seems I blew the engine on my car. I will be unloading my Kid Rock collectibles, Paradime Collectibles, and TBT Collectibles. My Car is going to cost me 3 Grand to repair, and I need all the funds I can to make sure I have a vehicle. So, in the upcoming days, be ready to bid, donate, and help a cause much greater then u may think. I am also organizing a benefit show...
Happy Trails
What the hell are you talking about? I don't see a group here? Just a thread started. Am i missing something?
I ENJOY ALL KINDS OF MUSIC, TOO FROM GEORGE JONES TO AC DC, BUT I'M ADDICTED TO KID ROCK 'S MUSIC , HE'S SO REAL.....PEACE BROTHER
I for one love all types of music except opera, just never could get into that one.As fpr Kid Rock,I am a very dedicated fan! I respect others opion(as long as they don't bad mouth him ya know) But I have ALWAYS been and will ALWAYS be a die hard Kid Rock Fan! If people would just take time to LISTEN to what his music say's, then maybe they would feel differently. If they can hear Kid's music and still critasize, then they have no heart and no true love for musicand are clueless as to what good music is and also what life is all about! This man sing's from his own life experiences, and 99% of the songs hit straight @ home with me and my life. I use to think that no one could have been through things that I have but I know that Kid has!All I have to do is pop in one of his cd's and yep,he's been there, then I feel better if thatmake since? Don't get me wrong, I don't wish all that I have been through on anyone, but it's good to know that I'm not alone".
I am 43 years old, I have been through so damn much till some would not believe.I have been married 2 time both of which failed. For the past 10 years it's just ben me and my kids, but thats ok, it keeps my heart safe.Anyway,(I didn't mean to get into all that)But when I listen to Kid's music, I know he's been there.and I realize just how much he has been through, I just wish I could vent through writing music as he does, but instead I listen to his and I feel better.Although I am older than he is, seems like we were going through the same shit just about the same time frame.
I'm not a crazed"I'm in love withKid Rock" lady, but I do love him.Being of Native American decent,I am very much a eye person. When I had the pleasure of meeting Kid his eye's told me many things, many stories that I'm sure he has no clue I saw.He is a very good hearted man reguardless of what some may say.Yes he get's into shit, but hey, we are all human, and what's wrong with just havin a good time? None of are "Saints" but ther
Hank & Gretchen, "Outlaw Women" is my 2nd favorite video of ALL TIME!!! Second ONLY to Lynyrd Skynyrd, "Freebird" of course. Tymbo likey the window graphics on the car, too! Here's another graphic for ya, girl...might be you?
Music has always served as the soundtrack for my life. Never wasted my time on music I couldn't feel or didn't touch me or define a portion of my life. Kid is an amazing addition to the artists that get me and I'm grateful for him and others like him.
Marty you'll find "The Kids" style of Christmas music on youtube its called "Frosty the Blow man". LOL... It sound like I may have been preaching to the choir in my last post. Its always nice to be amongst folks with like minds. And, yes, Tymbo that is exactly what I meant when I used the term "Common Man". I am sure I would love to see you play let me know if you are ever in Florida. Right now I am doing my damnest to save an old rock venue here in Florida before it falls to the wrecking ball. Maybe, if I can pull it off you'll come play for us? Outlaw, Renegade, Rebel, or Up your A$* and in your Face Rock it all fits. Peace All
The "Good Guys" always wear black!
well I love outlaws always and forever, kid is right there at the top and has been for 10 years now, I married an outlaw and well it's been quite a ride, love it....
now you want to see my rock in roll pain train....
it's really no pain I love this train....
After reading my earlier reply to your post, I realized that I never welcomed you to the Train...sry...WELCOME, BABE! LOL!!! Also, I didn't mean to sound so negative, I just got on my soapbox. I'm a musician of about 32 years and I've been trying to NOT get labeled that whole time.
Peace, love, and free your mind.
I like to think that music only fits into two categories.....I like or I don't like.....simple as that. If I were going to put a label on the Kid's music, it would be "Outlaw". Let's face it: he has went against the norm for ALL genres of music. This, as history has indicated, is the shit that makes an artist's music timeless and gives it the ability to live on.....FOREVER!!! Look at Waylon Jennings, The Eagles, Hank Jr., Lynyrd Skynyrd, & Johnny Cash. All of these performers are known to every person from age 1 (if I raised them) to age 90+. They have all contributed to country, rock, blues, and (now) hip-hop. Country music started becoming more popular with the Garth Brooks era when everyone it seemed started digging country because Garth liked KISS and recorded a forgotten Billy Joel tune. !!!NEWS FLASH!!! Hank Williams, Sr. has been being covered by artists dating as far back as the time of Garth still shittin' his pants and earlier! Your "blonde" friend was probably part of this dumb-ass generation of which I am speaking.
As for labeling Kid Rock, I will call him an Outlaw.....because he has "crossed over" from hip-hop into more than just country music. Add to that the fact that he has also performed and recorded with the major Outlaws of this generation, and I would say that he is in excellent company if he is considered an Outlaw in the music industry. Let's let the commercializing corporate jack-off's do their labeling because it makes them feel better about whatever it is they do in the world. I know what I do in the world and it doesn't concern labels.....it concerns a thing I call "real life" which is what you are referring to as "the common man" I think (if I'm wrong with that last bit, I'm sorry).
With all of that said, I hope that you and everyone else has a clearer understanding of why I created this group (Rock 'n' Roll Pain Train) and that this is the reason that I wanted it to exist. So far, I think that all members of this
WOW I TOTAL AGREE WITH YOU, AND YES THOSE BITCHES ARE VISOUS AT A KID ROCK CONCERT.
Take it from an old rocker who lived it "Southern Rock" defied a label/title for many years before it finally defined its own category. I have no doubt that the genre of "The Kids" music will soon earn its own title. His unique blend of HipHop/Country/Rock style and his perfection of smashing or mashing tunes (which ever it is) will certainly be a key player in the effort to title such a category. He is certainly an accomplished musician in all areas of music and has a wisdom of the lifestyle that only comes from the test of time with much failure and much success. I feel that with his latest album his thoughts and feelings have embodied the heart and lifestyle of the common man. This is evident by just taking a good 3rd person look at the crowd that his concerts draw. You will find all ages, all socio economic classes, all races and cultures, all sexual preferences and all coexisting and looking out for each other, (with the exception of the rude blonde bitch who kept trying to steal my cowboy hat)
Maybe naming this genre of music would be a great idea for a contest sponsored by the Kid Rock Community. Well peace yall I'm glad to be a part of your group. Melonie
My kind of music..like to get loud and listen with the band..
.....................OUT LAW the only music...............................
those are good choices, i like all three,
all ladies love outlaws.
I don't go for the newer country...If it ain't outlaw, I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT! Anything with rockin' guitars is ALWAYS good! Skynyrd, Bocephus, and Kid Rock...it just don't get any better than that!
if it rocks i like it, guitars i love, but i need to feel it, if i don't then i don't like it.
sorry i don't really like country some of it's ok, not much though.
I guess I'm a rocker and always will be. but there are many types of rock. and i pretty much like it all.
There is no accounting for taste...we have it...they don't...LOL
I would like him if he sang Christmas songs...He really brings out the feel of the songs....and he likes to dance..I like to dance.. and his songs you can dance too.
I hear ya. I am like you I like all kinds of different music. And I love Kid Rock
