The best kiss I ever had
Was the one I never got
Made me kinda sad
Thought maybe he'd forgot
It's the thought I've been missing
It never goes away
Of his lips to mine, sweet kissing
The one that I may never find
How could he ever forget
And leave these sweet lips behind
Blows my mind and leaves me talking
Walked right by smiling
And just kept on walking.
I thought hey, stop, it's me!
But he couldn't hear the thoughts in my head
Maybe it just wasn't meant to be.
And as I turned to walk away in disgrace
I turned to look one more time,
congrats that is one of my dreams to restore a car
