hey guys, so im comin over from Australia with a couple friends and we are hiring and RV to drive to these Detroit gigs, in Clarkston, was wondering if anyone knows of any caravan parks around Clarkston that would be good to stay at? and also any tips on what areas we should stay away from to avoid trouble?
What a great show by Kid Rock!
&
He really knows how to surround himself w/ some talent... I was very impressed by them Blackberry Smoke boys who opened for him!

Michigan is a fine place to live, we're going through very very hard times right now, there are changes happening, that are encouraging. I really appreciate your comments angelique because everyone in the entire world bitch slaps Detroit, it's nice to hear that someone is interested in our state and our culture and heritage. Could care less if you misspelled anything, I understood everything you said, or typed.

I did the same in the mid 70's and early eighties. Heard some great bands, no one that became famous but my kids
are seeing bands now, they go to the Fillmore, and St Andrews in downtown D, Clutch Cargos in Pontiac, Majestic in Mt Clemens and a ton of other places w/ original music, not covers. They hear some really good music and share it w/ me, some I like, some I don't. It's a good thing, my kids are not music snobs, they love everything, rock, rap, country etc. They haven't embraced Opera or Classical yet...
This was really good to watch, I might hogtie my kid and make them watch it. Who would of thought Pavarotti and James Brown would team up together. Two beautiful voices.

"KICK OUT THE JAMS MUTHERFUCKERS" Per Big Daddy, he's right that says it all !!
By choice I now declare my second home to be Detroit
I got to meet Ron Perry, the producer, today at R&R Productions - what a GREAT guy and what a fantastic project!!! He came out to interview Robyn Robins, one of the founding members of The Silver Bullet Band. I think it's high-time someone did a great documentary of these legendary Detroit artists. Ron has so much respect for the music and is doing such a great job!
Please re-post to all Detroit music fans! :)
Thank you, that was soooooo much fun to watch!!! Ted Nugent and the Amboy Dukes, MC5, Mitch Ryder, and of course Bob Seger. (got to go to his live concert at COBO in '76 that was recorded. It was really fun) So glad they paid some homage to KR because there isn't anyone better at mixing rock, blues, country, rap, than that guy.
