Hey! Let me tell you something. I Just got back from a trip to Las Vegas to see the Kid Rock and Uncle Kracker concert. WOW! What a time I had! I have some pics and a couple short videos. I'll post them soon. Not now, gotta get some rest. All that Kid Rock and Uncle Kracker got me spinnin! Let me tell you what I remember before it starts to fade. Uncle Kracker and his band came out and did six or seven songs. Then, Tiger comes out and introduces Kid Rock and boom! Here out from the depths below comes Bobby Shazzam! It was an awesome show!
Yee gods, woman. How long have we posted side by side? I am STILL not clear to you??

I stand by my comment...ask anyone that has ever had a addiction its THEM who go get help. usually its not until they themselves decide that is what I am saying. most of us if we have lived long enough have seen addiction of others and sometimes lived it ourselves. do we have to wollow in it...of course not. even by witnessing it and living it you either become addiction its self or cast it away. Well Put Miss Angel, I couldn't agree more!!

For example, having everyone stand for Mr. Petty...where were you when he was around earlier, announcing a video? I had the impression that you were not aware of the events of the evening...and that alcohol was part of it.
I appreciate Kid Rock's music. I don't know anything about his persona. The position of MCing an important awards show, to me, indicates a constant awareness and guidance of the show's evolution of events.
Alcohol should not have had a presence on this show. Where is Kid Rock's manager to prevent these sticky situations? Where is Kid Rock's perception that he is agreeing to something that is going to have a negative impact on his career?
Trust me His career is just getting bigger and bigger. Drinking alcohol and smoking cigars is not illegal last time I checked. If this is the worst thing the children of America witness on a Award show. lol We are in good shape. Children see people smoke and drink everyday. And EXCUSE MY RUDE BLUNTNESS, but if you all dont believe the partying was part of the script then You are to dumb to watch TV. Thats not to say that there wernt a few drinks downed but they were plenty sober enough to perform. lol
Kid Rock is a great example of a Patriotic American, Of a Great

Kid Rock is a great example of a Patriotic American, Of a Great Father, Of a determined man to teach himself a craft and make himself a millionaire, ...... THATS THE EXAMPLE I WANT MY KIDS TO HAVE, I could give a FUCK if he smokes on TV. lol

If they were really hitting the bottle the people running that show would have tried to hide it not bring it out in the open. I don't think Kid Rock is anywhere near the drunk he tries to make people think he is. He has alot of respect for country music and country singer's and I think he took that hosting gig very seriously. I really hated that cigar smoking and I thought it was pretty rude to be blowing smoke right into that one girl's face on stage. Other than that I really enjoyed him as host.
That's Suz.....think "Dean Martin".....right?
Kid Rock is a far, far cry from Dean Martin. And an official never indicated to Dean Martin during a performance to nix the cigar - only to be responded to disrespectfully. If the ratings were great, and I wouldn't be surprised to hear that they were, consider the talent that was presenting and performing. There were some great ones! Keith Urban and John Mayer, Trace Adkins and Blake Shelton were a couple I especially liked.Think of all the kids who want to emulate others in the public eye. What's great, though, is people can discuss and disagree. I appreciate that you folks have demonstrated that towards me - thanks.
Depends on how old you are. Did you see the original Dean M

Seriously? He's not a role model, just a gifted musician/performer with the band that does not stink live.
His official and Bob-approved persona is located at www.kidrock.com.....the label's legal version. Go read the historical entries. Won't take long to convince you, I hope.

Really don't care if he was high as a kite, think he and the band did a great job. So proud watching! Ten and more years most of us have invested in that outfit. Can't wait for him to try the Grammy's, lol. Think he'll have a pot belly and show his bald little head?
Yes it was the writers. At least that is what I read in an interview. I am just saying in my opinion he was not drunk.. But I love him drunk or sober. In my eyes he can do no wrong.....

He wasn't drunk. That was all an act. Like they were acting in his dressing room. It was all in fun. Maybe towards the end of the show he was a little buzzed. Now when he went to the after party who knows, but what he does is he business.

President Bush SENIOR was in office, as he & Barbara were in attendance...made it a bit different with security precautions, seeing Secret Service standing everywhere, haha. Those dudes are not friendly, haha. I guess they can't be 'talkative' as it could be a distraction, but the one near us wouldn't even say 'hi' back to people. Anyway, I'm getting side-tracked there, lol.
My point is...this was like around 1993-94 I think? Shoot, there was plenty of drinking going on everywhere...before & after parties. We attended several, including RCA's party downtown...Randy Owen of Alabama jammed my camera trying to figure out why it woudn't flash, lol...Aaron Tippin then jammed it good! Oh the memories! I have pics, one of these day's I'll try to share. I can tell you there were ALOT of drunk artists and record exec's in that audience back in 1990's. Booze, beer, partying and Country Music go hand and hand...think of all the artists in Country music history with addiction problems, DUI's, lost life...Hank Sr., Keith Whitley, Wynnona, Tracy Lawrence, others.
Trust me...anyone who judges Kid Rock's drinking at the CMA's as being out of line, unusual, or different from any other CMA awards show...is either a self righteous hypocrite, or totally ignorant of the boozing & partying realities related to the CMA's & world of Country Music...which doesn't make them a very knowled
