If VIP's, The
Admiral or The Pink Monkey are closed on July 30, now you'll know why.

Kid
Rock will be hosting an after party at Crimson Lounge that night
following his show with Bon Jovi at Soldier Field. Tickets for the party
at Crimson Lounge, located in Thompson Hotels' Sax Chicago, are $50 in
advance (email LydiaC@ThompsonHotels.com) and $75 at the door.

I'm going to the Saturday night show at Soldier Field. I will be in Chi- town at 11pm Friday night and I'm seriously considering going to the party. Tickets are still available for $20.00/each in advance through the above email link. She responded super-fast yesterday and she'll send an email receipt to use at the door to get in. Who else is really going?

I think you are confused with a back stage pass and the opportunity to hang out with the performer after the show? Usually "Official After Parties" are paid for up front so someone has to recover their costs. Considering a no name DJ can command $20 at a club, I would say that $20 to party with Kid Rock in a small place is a good deal!

My guess would be because he is opening for Bon Jovi and will be done with his set by 9pm.....He's only doing 1 hour shows w/Jovi, not his usual 2+ hour headlining sets....Also because he is in downtown Chicago and he knows he's going to party - so why not get paid for a few hours?

Price is right, sounds like fun, but wrong Concert Town for me!
