Watching the Philly news at work this am and come to a disturbing story. It is messed up that a store in the mall like Spencer's can get away with selling shirts let alone... but ya can't wear them in the mall. I posted this on the Kid Rock boards because I am aware of Kid Rock wearing and supporting a similar type shirt. C'mon man.. "this is 'Merica.. we speak 'Merican here"!!!!
I can't help but feel for the family involved being that I myself and my husband just lost his father to cancer last month. I will NEVER step foot into this mall EVER AGAIN !!!
As a devoted fan, glad to see these numbers....also, if you hit this link and search "Kid Rock" another whole source of pics, articles, what have you....

A Robin Hood pact with promoter Live Nation on ancillary coin might redefine the concert biz

Where I grew up, there were no rich people. No bankers, no rightwing titans ranting the poor were lazy and the government was taking all their hard-earned money. Some dads worked for the electric company, others sold insurance or held blue-collar jobs.
Just have to say... FRICKEN LOVE, LOVE, LOVE how Kid Rock presented the award tonight on the Billboard Music awards!!!!! That ROCKED and it was fricken awesome!!!!!! xoxoxoxoxox
thanks for posting the link, T! I finally got a chance to listen to it today while eating my lunch... it was very sweet. I thought the very regular stuff he talked about (his kid's school fair and the problems with his neighbors) was really nice to hear.
I also have a personal connection to Indonesia, so I was surprised and happy to hear him talk about his fans there in a nice positive way. :-)
Thanks Redwing, Sept. 7 is already blocked out on my calendar. Can't be too soon to hear some new music. Did he say Tom Petty is on keyboards, the podcast kind of got fuzzy then. If so how cool. Lot of great artists on the new album. Thanks again.
Quite a few guest artists on it including a new song with Cheryl Crow, a song with Zac Brown, and something with the drummer from Red Hot Chili Peppers i think.

Yes it's a detroit radio station 101.1. He talked about the new record and the 2 detroit shows coming up plus a lot of other random stuff. It was a really good interview. They'll be playing it again at 6 am tomorrow morning.
