We were at the Tigers game tonight as the no hitter was happening, I never mentioned it, neither did my son or husband, we know better, but someone didn't cuz Anibal Sanchez pitched an unbelievable game tonight, and was robbed of the no hitter with 2 outs to go in the top of the ninth, by no less than Joe Mauer. UGH, but brilliant pitching by Sanchez. FYI for the baseball newbies, NEVER MENTION NO HITTER WHILE A NO HITTER IS HAPPENING!!! I don't buy into jinxes but I buy into this one.
I want to go.....where do Isign up!
Anyone know how it works if we get a group of us to go in together? I have 3 or 4 friends and we all want to room together...Is it still $800 per person?
Wonder what happened to the discussion I started on this topic? Did it get pulled for some reason????
Are you a paying member of the Congregation? That's who will be, or have already received tokens. Mine was emailed this afternoon. They said they will begin mailing them, so depending upon how many members there are...may take more than just today to send them out. They may go by date of joining, seniority so to speak, or alphabetically too.
Those who aren't paying members, but subscribe to the mailing list...also received an email, but without token or date to pre-book. They were told to sign up to receive their token by a certain date...at least according to what friends told me who received the mailing list email.
I'm still looking for my tockens!!!! any help out there?
i got my token
Did you see anything as to what type of payment methods are accepted? I assume they schedule payments to a credit card, but if that were the case the late payment fee makes no sense, as payments would be automatically charged to your cc at due date.
Okay, so that means I need to make a $300 deposit instead of $150...since I'll have to book solo?
hahaha
I don't suppose I can take my beloved friend along to protect from pirates? He's pretty tough, his name is Ruger, 9MM.
I've flown twice, but no cruises. I've been on a cabin cruiser lake boat, about 1/1000th the size of a Cruise Ship, hahaha.
I'm assuming due to the number of reservations they expect...they're trying to make sure all have an opportunity to see Kid live, so limiting us to one show only. I'm leaning towards choosing the last show, saving the best for last sorta theory, haha. :)
Ditto on hoping Angel, and Theresa...are back soon!!
PLEASE!! :)
I am copying & saving all of this info to study so I'll be prepared come the 27th, haha...my designated date for presale noted in my token email. Thanks Redwing!! You've helped me a bunch with all this info, as I've never taken a cruise, and don't have a clue!
Yes, got mine this afternoon.
I'm doing okay physically, thanks for asking. My lupus is limited so far to skin & joints with lupus related arthritis. However, it's no worse than common arthritis, and since they believe I've had undiagnosed lupus for at least a few years now...I don't notice much change physically even now knowing I have lupus related arthritis, rather than common arthritis. Ain't much gonna slow me down living life, hahaha...including lupus related arthritis, just pop a few Ibuprofen and I'm good, lol.
The skin lessions are very similar to a chicken pox sore or mosquito bites...itching, etc...mostly appear on my shoulders & back sporatically here & there, no large masses of them or anything like that, which I'm fortunate for. They come and go, depending upon many factors...exposure to sun, stress. The sun I can protect myself from to some extent...the stress, well, unfortunately I have others in my life that I can't avoid who bring about much stress, lol.
yeah!!!! Can't wait.............
No problem. By the time I got back my time was up to so couldn't delete it either. Oh well, it never hurts to provide too much informatio .... lol
I'll be back on later on tonight. Hopefully by then, we'll all know more.
No, nothing yet. Let me know if you do.
Ok, one more Point of Interest:
How does ticketing work for the headlining show?
As you are making a reservation, you will be asked a series of questions designed to help tailor this experience to your cabin.
1. You will be asked for your cabin's headlining show preference.
There will be two Kid Rock shows during the cruise. Your entire cabin will be placed in the same show; people in the same cabin may not choose different show nights.
2. You will be asked for your cabins zone preference. This refers to the seating zone of the theater from where you would prefer to see the show. The venue consists of a balcony and a lower level (floor). On the floor, guests will stand aproximately 4 people to a table and 8 people to a booth. There will not be actual seats for all guests on the floor. The balcony is one person per seat. Choice of zones is based on real time availability according to the order of booking.
All zone selections are final.
3. Specific seat assignments will be made sixty days ahead of sailing. Upon arrival at the port you will receive a card that will act as your ticket, designating your chosen show night, zone selection and assigned seat.
This will guarantee your admission into the theatre.
Thank You Angel for the Information!
We miss you, hope your back soon!
Anyone get the email yet with the token password information?
See you guys on the cruise!!! It's going to be a blast!
Sorry Mimi, didn't see you had posted the info before I did my info Update!
I'd edit mine, but now my time is up....hahaha
Thanks for posting it.

Hey Connie Jo (slightly off topic)!! How are you feeling these days?? Miss ya when your not around!
I'll drool on him, lol!
That is correct. I saw it by clicking on the various links. The payment schedule is under "Top Questions" under FAQ:
What is the payment schedule?
The minimum payment schedule allows guests to make installment payments on their cruise over time. The date that you place your reservation will dictate your minimum deposit amount, after which you would be required to make any future payments according to the schedule.
$149 per person, based on occupancy due at time of reservation
Additional $199 per person is due on October 15, 2009
Additional $249 per person is due on December 15, 2009
Final Balance due February 15, 2010
The minimum deposit for solo cruisers is $298
The payment schedule for suites is double the deposit amount per person.
Past-due payments are subject to a late fee of at least $35. See the Ticketing Contract for full details.
Reservations made after February 15, 2010, require a minimum $500 deposit, and must be paid in full within 30 days of the booking or 35 days from the departure date, whichever comes first.
I been all over that site, musta missed it! Thanks BKR will go look again....
This is what I have found:
What does the price of Kid Rock's Chillin' The Most Cruise include?
In addition to admission to all the great shows, the price of your room also includes:
all meals (there's gourmet fare in the formal dining rooms, casual indoor and outdoor grills open for meals throughout the day and 24 hour room service)
**Your ticket to one of Kid Rocks headlining main theater show as well as access to all the general admission venues and concerts on board** AND THIS MEANS EXACTLY WHAT?
non-carbonated beverages (i.e. tea, juices, coffee)
free entrance to hot spots like the ship's disco and casino
use of the ship's beautiful pools and giant waterslide (all with plenty of deck space to enjoy a cocktail and some great music)
use of the ship's health and fitness center
Camp Carnival facilities and activities if you're bringing your children
taxes, port charges and ticketing are added at check-out and pre-paid for you ($179 per person)
Not included are:
gratuities ($10 per person, per day will be charged to your onboard spending account)
gambling
spa
alcoholic beverages
soft drinks (however, cards are available for a low price which get you unlimited soft drinks throughout the cruise)
any meals, events or tours on shore in the Ports
airfare (although an airline discount is typically available through Sixthman, see TRAVEL DISCOUNTS)
ground transportation (although a car rental discount is typically available through Sixthman see TRAVEL DISCOUNTS)
travel insurance (available through Sixthman)
Yea, but the rates are for (I guess) for double occupancy. It's a matter of being able to trust who get as a room mate if there it's not someone from here.
And just who do you think is gonna save everyone from the Pirates? hahaha
Another Tid-Bit for those who would use this option to check out....
I was told that u can make payments as long as it is paid by Feb....I have been trying to verify this, but have had no luck? I'm not the best at research either. I have looked at the site KidRockCruise.com with no luck and also the CarnivalCruise.com website?
