    I was just told That there will not NOT be 3 cds.

    Kid Rock's follow up to Rock N Roll Jesus is being produced by Rick Rubin. Rolling Stone Magazine's recent Q&A with Kid Rock in their August 6, 2009 issue confirmed two songs in "The Midwest Fall" and "One Woman Man". Other confirmed songs have been "Care" featuring T.I. and "In Times Like These," which he has performed on his current tour. The song is about Detroit's struggling economy. A song with rapper Lil Wayne has been confirmed; it will be a freestyle rap over The Who's "Eminence Front", according to the Detroit Free Press. The album will be a triple disc with one album of rock, one of hip hop and one of country. Bob Seger,Lenny Kravitz and James Hetfield will guest on the album as well as Merle Haggard and George Strait. In an interview with WRIF-FM in Detroit in May 2009 he discussed a hard rock cover of country group Alabama's "Mountain Song" as well as a mash up of "Cowboy" and "Wanted Dead or Alive" featuring Bon Jovi. The album will be released between late 2009 and early 2010.

That was quite some time ago...a lot of people didn't agree with the name...I have always loved it!
This new one is pretty good imo.

I am really looking forward to this! Thanks for the info Angel. As i have said time and time again, YOU ARE THE WOMAN!!
I really like that song 'Eminence Front' so the freestyle rap with Lil Wayne should be awesome, and a mash of Cowboy and Dead or alive! Oh my god, i cant wait!!You know i will be first in line at Target to buy a copy the second it becomes available!

Roxy if I recall correctly you didn't like R.R.J. title either?
I think with everything happening in the states it is valid title...and some of the songs are about what is happening in the U.S.A. soooo maybe it is an appropriate title?

And yes the idea of them doing a 3 genre idea has been around awhile.

It seems to me this would be the PERFECT time for them to do a multple cd.

After all when it comes down to it.thats what Kr is all about...Diversity

I'm sure I will love what's on the inside too....somethin for everyone...brilliant business move.
Even it you don't like hiphop or country or rock people will more than likely listen to the whole album..and possibly become a fan of some of the other songs that they would normally not be exposed to....brilliant!
This one should sell more than the last>>>Go get em Rock!

I'm probably wrong, but I do think this Cruise thing is the kick off for the new CD. And it would make sense to me if it is the kick off.

Well, I swear this guy read my mind. I was thinking this about a year ago, about how it would be neat to have a triple CD, one of each in genres. I swear to God on this. I hope it really is true. I do believe he did say he wants to make everyone happy, right? lol

And yep Angel the Comerica or any Live DVD would be a great great bonus. That man's gotta give in sometime, lol.

I would absolutely LOVE a Comerica Park DVD! I cannot even explain how happy that would make me. And I love the 3 disc idea, everyone wins! I also think the title is very appropriate. Love it. Now I am overly excited and would love a release date!
