Lets play a lil game

Ok if we are going to get sentimental here goes. I discovered Kid ( I had heard his music but wasn't a fan yet) a couple of years ago when I was going through a breakup. I saw Kid's A&E Bio, and then saw him on Larry King Live and I was like, who is this guy? I loved his sense of humor, he had me laughing like I hadn't in weeks and I totally related to what he was saying. I went over to Curcuit City and bought all of his CD's and listened to them for the next few weeks. I got his humor and would be singing at the top of my lungs driving around town and my son is like Mom, you're into Kid Rock? Some of this music is old, from 10 years ago. I said, I know, it just goes to show that good music never gets old. I was hooked, had to see him in concert. I went twice in a year. NY and Mansfield. I discovered these two KR sites. This is the first fan site I ever joined. I love it here, such a mixed bag, yet a good hearted group. Creative, talented, and never a dull moment. This whole Kid Rock experience healed me from a bad period in my life. I've heard other people with similar stories on here. I think it's great. I feel a sense of being home when I come on here that I don't feel with people who don't get Kid. I think for me it's a state of mind. Be your best and love the people you do and the ones who don't get you and want to talk smack, fuckem. When I was going through my painful stage I would sing my name is kiiiiiiiiiiiiiidddddddddddd Roooooooocccccccccckkkkkkk and fuck you. I friend said, he sounds angry and I said exactly, listening helped me to get all that toxic shit of being with a complete asshole out of my system and then some of the others songs helped me to heal and be happy again and it only cost me a couple of hundred dollars, CD's, concerts, and this site was free. I call it Kid Rock therapy. I am back in school and doing what I wanted to do all along. I trust my own self now. Kid does his own thing and that's what I needed to be do
