I watched the CMT Awards last night and my opinion was that Kid Rock did an amazing job He is an amazing artist who speaks his mind and is a real person What people dont understand is that he truly loves and enjoys music. He has teamed up with pretty much all country artists to hang out and sing with them. He loves country music. With regard to him having a drink on stage and smoking a cigar. If I remember correctly so did Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. He is a person in the industry who follows his own rules and does not do what executives tell him to do. I have become a country music listener and enjoy the music... He represented and did a fabulous job last night. Also, he did not write the skits CMTs executives and/or writers did. What I truly liked was at the end of the show he did not use prompters and spoke from his heart Kid Rock is here and will continue to be here for a long time. Carolynn Belgiorno

I felt like a proud family member! Ha! He did a great job and looked like he had fun doing it. Kid was none other than himself and showed his witty self. I have no doubt that he made the rounds to some fun after parties. Very tasteful and appreciative at the end. He has made some great friends and supporters in the country world.
