JOE C AND KID PAINTING STILL MISSING IN ACTION!!! NO NEWS YET AFTER SEVERAL FAILED ATTEMPTS TO FIND OUT WHETHER SECURITY DELIVERED PAINTING TO KID. HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP ME OUT! THANKS!!! ATTENDED INDY SHOW (AUGUST 16th), HAD A GREAT TIME! WANTED TO SAY THANKS TO EVERYONE ON THE COMPLIMENTS I RECIEVED ON THE PAINTING JOE C. AND KID. KID FANS ROCK!!!THE REASON I'M POSTING THIS IS TO SEE IF ANYONE KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT THE PAINTING. WE HAD 3rd ROW SEATS CENTER IN VIP SECTION AND I WAS PLANNING DURING THE CONCERT TO HAND IT UP TO KID. I FELT A LITTLE UNCOMFORTABLE ABOUT INTERUPTING THE CONCERT, KIDS THE STAR AND I DID'NT WANT IT TO BE ABOUT ME ALSO I DID'NT KNOW IF HE WOULD TAKE IT. SO BEFORE THE CONCERT I TALKED TO ONE OF THE USHERS AND HE PUT ME IN CONTACT WITH HEAD OF SERCURITY. HIS NAME WAS STEVE WITH LIVE NATION. I GAVE HIM THE PAINTING WITH ALL MY INFO HE SAID HE WOULD TAKE DIRECTLY TO KID. HE CAME BACK A FEW MINUTES LATER AND SAID IT WAS ON THE WAY TO KID ROCK. HE SAID HE GAVE IT TO KID'S #1 MAN AND HE WOULD TAKE IT TO HIM RIGHT AWAY. HAVE'NT HEARD ANYTHING! I KNOW ROCKS BUSY BUT STILL CURIOUS IF HE GOT IT. IF ANYONE KNOWS OR HEARS ANYTHING I'D APPRECIATE IT IF YOU WOULD LET ME KNOW! YOU CAN ALSO CHECK OUT PICS AND MY ARTWORK ON MY PAGE. MORE PICS AND ART TO COME! First of all your painting is true talent!!! very nicely done and with such detail to likeness. 2nd...how are you downloading your picture? I've seen qute a few pics on here (sent to me, or on others pages, blog posts etc. ) that are stretched out... it isn't doing your painting any justice by having to scroll down half a page to try to view it. Possibly some one here is more computer savy than I am to give instruction on how to better download and copy pics to pages that are accurate and easier on the eyes for viewing...I use photobucket and never have this problem. Thanks... and Hey! pat yourself on the back regarding your artwork, you deserve it!! : )
oh yeah one more thing....maybe send a personal message to Kid Rock on his page with a catchy title to spark attention ...there is a small chance someone who handles his page may just read it and pass on the message for a slightly better chance of knowing whether he received it or not... also do the same on his myspace page. It is a beautiful painting!! Absolutely beautiful! I totally love the thought you had of putting Joe C's reflection in the sunglasses.
As far as whether or not Kid received the painting...I sure hope so. However, I just can't imagine Kid, or at least one of his staff on his behalf...not acknowledging the painting was received, especially considering the beauty & thoughtfulness of such an original gift, & the incredible amount of time, heart, & soul you put into it.
Please keep us updated as to whether or not you do receive any acknowledgment. I'm very curious as a matter of human interest.
Also, do you do commissions? Seriously, I'm curious. :)
