Once upon a time, a Kid Rock show in Detroit was something all my people wanted to go to. It was the cool thing to do, the cool place to be, a good time for all. Now my mom wants to go, my aunt calls for tickets, and my teachers from High School frequent the shows. Once upon a time, he was a devil without a cause, now he is all religous during his shows, making me feel as if he is a zealot without a cause. The lyrics and content used to be on the edge, its what made him who he is, now its pathetic and same ole same ole. Why do I hold on?
loll either stacey marie copied a sentence that i used in here before or we think exactly alike loll
I honestly love what he stands for and what a great musician he is, but I would love to spend time with him, I would love to sit down, have a Jack and Diet Coke, and talk with him one on one and just have a mellow kick ass time. I am sure I could say all the naughty things we could do but I am married and it's not appropriate, LOL, besides it's not very original is it?.
Much love.
I most certainly would date/spend time with him but I also love his music and respect all that he stands for. He has a compassionant soul. Perhaps thats what makes me care for him so.
Yes, I remember Shaun Cassidy, but I never had a teen crush on him like so many, haha. I was never much for the pretty boys so to speak...Davy Jones of the Monkees, or even Paul McCartney of the Beatles...whom most girls were the craziest over. George was my fav Beatle, followed by Ringo. I didn't even like the Monkees, so none of them, haha. I did have a crush on Mark Lindsay of Paul Revere & the Raiders though, haha. All the other girls loved 'Fang', but my crush was on Mark.
i would like to be the one that is just hanging out in the background of a very very small party, and just seeing Him be Himself. Of course i would make sure he always had a drink and all that. Now if grabbed a guitar and started playing, well i would be the puddle over in the corner.
he'd be one of the best to party with theirs no doubt about that, their would be so many things 2 do with him hes such a cool guy
Do you remeber Shaun Cassidy, Connie JO? lmao
LOL...Heart;
I have desires...what I meant was my hormones don't rage for Kid Rock like they may have done once upon a time in very younger yrs, haha. Though completed menopause earlier than some, in my early to mid 40's...I'm only 52! Still ticking too, hahaha. :)
Wow cool responds thus far. Hell yes I would love to party with Bob. You really get to know a person when you party with them. He also seems very smart, so would just love to have a good conversation with him about anything. He opens his mouth & you just want to stop and listen. lol Anyways, So love his newest CD. He's just someone I hope to meet no day. He just kick ass!! lol Fan for LIFE!! lol
Hubby and i like him because he is very talented. Would like to say hi, and have an intelligent conversation. Hubby would enjoy a smoke with him ofcourse!!!
sorta like back in Jr High at a sleepover truth or dare. Only then it was SHAUN CASSIDY!!! bwahahahah...I'm getting so old!
cutie4u>>> I meant no offense, you know that right? It was a fun thread, for sure! I giggled at the replies, and couldnt resist replying myself. tee hee
Yeah Connie I am Married too and happily so. Besides he is a hottie and 12 years youger than I. Can't go along with the hormone thing tho, still ticking at 50. On that end of the spectrum KR has nothing on my sweetie. Besides my hubby knows and accepts that I am a people person and that I need people interaction to be alive and happy. There is not a jealous bone in his body because he knows I am coming home at the end of the day and vice versa. That is more valuable to me than any quickie. The Kid certainly would not be the first or the most famous person that I ever spent time with but I don't "spoil" and tell, nor will he be my last. But most just like to come sit and hang out and be normal. We laugh or cry or debate or whatever. Some like to just get their hands dirty working on cars or digging fence post holes or carpentry just something different. Have a good home cooked meal and have someone tuck them in when they crash out on the couch. In the .am they are greeted with a cup of coffee just like they like it so that their up and at it again to meet and greet the masses. Then it maybe a year before we see them again. And it is all good. Some may think that is boring but I like giving back and sometimes "ourselves and our normal lives" is the best thing we can give. Peace Yall!
DUH...no brainer here, LOL. Im with you EKR angel, would be awesome to hang @ a race with him!!!
I know you were just playing BJ, but...I gotta say, I think Kid's attractive, has charisma, but I honestly just don't think of him in a sexual way. I'm too old fashioned I guess, very married sorta thing...or just plain old with lack of hormones, haha. :)
As far as spending his money...I'd feel bad if he spent any money! I'd insist I pay for the game tickets, his beer, etc.. That old fashioned thing again I guess, haha...figure it's the least I could do, considering all he's given through his music, etc..
I agree, to whomever it was that said KR is very intelligent, he is indeed, no doubt about it.

I would like to just spend down time with Bob and friend. Talk about whatever, cut up, get crazy. Maybe play some music, check out the horse, just hang. Most of all I would love the opportunity to say Thank You.
Ah, Sass, you didn't have to delete and repost because you spelled it Bobbie, I was just saying, haha.
this is such a teenie-bopper type of thread...lol. But anyway...ummmm.... a day of fishing sounds good to me, and a loud competative card game (it gets that way at our house) after grilling some steaks.
I have James....JamIE I called him for yrs. Jimmy never set right with me or my ex-huz. He's now Jay, but his fellow emergency/firemen have called him JIM...not jimmy. Thats good cuz without thinking in rhyme, my second one was Timothy Up here for some reason our dialect makes it more like T'maaayyy than it does timmeee. I think Timmay...I think southpark. So now that he's older we've started calling him T. just plain T. The kids he hangs around with have done the same.
As far as hanging with Kid Rock...I had a conversation with him once relating to NFL. His close friend Hank Jr. is a loyal Chiefs fan like me, so we were conversing about Hank being a Chiefs fan. Based upon that conversation, knowing Kid is also an NFL fan himself...I'd love to attend an NFL game with Kid. Not as a 'date' of course, would want my husband along too, haha...but, just enjoying the game, cursing the refs when they make a bad call, making noise to help the defense, giving high 5's when a TD occurs, etc.. I know Kid would be a lot of fun at a game to hang with, his personality being a lot like mine when it comes to enjoying a game enthusiastically, haha.
Kid has a great sense of humor, laughs a lot. It's his sense of humor I would enjoy most about hanging with him at a game.
LOL @ Shady
My poor son, his name is Robert, after my beloved Uncle Bob (RIP). We've always called him Robbie, & spelled it with 'ie' rather than 'y'. You're absolutely right, boys spelling should be with a 'y', girls an 'ie'...but, the 'y' spelling bothered me with Robbie...think cause when he was a baby the 'ie' seemed more innocent, I dunno, haha.
Anyway, he hates being called Robbie today, everyone calls him 'Rob'...except of course me, haha...he'll always be Robbie to me, he knows that, so let's me slide with calling him Robbie, haha.
btw...it just occurred to me...'Jimmie Bones'...instead of Jimmy...wonder if his mom had the same feeling I did when he was born, lol.
OH !!YEA !! I FORGOT TO MENTION I WOULD LIKE TO SMOKE SOME OF THAT KILLER ROCKSTAR BUD WITH HIM ALSO !!!! HEHEHE !!! I BET HE S GOT SOME FUNK !! LOVE THE KID !!! SASSY;0)
i would love to spend some one on one time with bob!! i first liked his music !! than the more interviews i seen of him i liked him even more !! i love his voice and his smile!!i would like to see the real side of bob !! because i know i like kid rock !! if that makes any since to you !! i wouldnt want to just sit arould an ask alot of questiones that would suck for him !! i would like to just kick back and have a few beers maybe go to a horse race than maybe play some poker or just watch a game on the big screen !!! if only this was fantasy island my fantasy could become my reality !!! sassy;0)
I'd like to slip him some truth serum (otherwise I'd surely get the BS he gives the press) and ask him WTF he was thinking (about so many things), so I can say I told you so to all of you people, hahahaha.
Makeover!
