Dark Thirty
There’s a faceless girl
In a nameless City
Ready to take on the world
Oh she’s so damn pretty
Bright eyes and long curls
Never been down and dirty
Aint never seen the things
That happen at dark thirty
The bad bad things that happen
At dark thirty
There’s some kind of people
That change right after dark
Take advantage of a young girl
With a certain kind of spark
Might wind up in the dirt
Down in Central Park
For whatever its worth
Happens at dark thirty
Bad bad things happen
At dark thirty
There’s a faceless kid
In a nameless town
He plans to make it big
He plans to bring it down

I seriously doubt you are older than many of his fans!!!! I myself am 43....5 kids and a wonderful husband!!!! But Kid rocks my world!!!! I am amazed by his talent and his generousity... and his devotion to his fans and his country!!! A true American Bad Ass.....but a wonderful and caring man!!!!!!.....and YES....my husband and I WILL be on the next crusie!!!!!
Yes it will always be PK to me too, Hubby and I flew in to see KR at PK in 04 I think, was one of my fav concerts even though our seats were not the greatest (last row). So many memories there and the first KR concert for Hubby. Cooks does have the best ice cream, and I lived in Texas for a couple years too... small world!!
KRLO said:Only been in LO since '95 so not familiar w/ that band. We were in Texas for 6 years, love the state but it wasn't home when you have little ones. That is definitely the name of the restaurant, we had those bread sticks at a Super Bowl party and I ate all of them plus any leftovers! We go to PK (refuse to call it DTE) all the time. Hope the guy this website is about might possibly think about performing there! (shouldn't do this, but Cooks Dairy, best ice cream ever and I don't even like ice cream)
yep the memory of some lefft out but yea big little short or tall they all the ones that tell the real storey and even sang it now and then

Oh girl, go for the breadsticks, It used to be called some thing else but I am pretty sure it is Annie Mcphees now, right on M-15, you should be able to ask anyone if you can't find it, best breadsticks I have ever had. You said you were 51? do you happen to remember a band from the 70's out of Lake Orion called the Goodness Group, they used to play all over but much of the time at the The Big Apple bar at Pine Knob?
KRLO said:Thanks to everyone, definitely going next year on the cruise, Ortonvillle, isn't there a really good restaurant w/ out of this world bread sticks, think it starts w/ a G. I agree age is what you make it. Hope he does decide to do some shows at Pine Knob this summer.

I will be 49 in May! Age is just a number. There were people in their 60's-80's on the cruise singing and swearing with Kid Rock.... so welcome to the party!!!!!
