A vast majority of lakes owned by the State or US Corp of Engineers...restrict building on the shoreline by codes, and he likely didn't have a choice as to how close his neighbors are.

It's a Lake House...not a main home I wouldn't think, not with neighbors so close. It's somewhat similar in style to his Malibu House...not so much the exterior architecture, as the Malibu exterior is much more West Coast Craftsman. However, the over all masculine feel with all the stone, brick, arched entrance, etc...is in keeping with the Interior Design choice related to his Malibu home. This home is somewhat a residual blend of architectural styles...Mediterranian, with a bit of Country French feel too.

As far as the windows...Kid won't be washing them, so why not? hahaha Most Lake Homes have many windows to take advantage of and incorporate the natural views.
