I want to thank those friends who have kept my family and me in their prayers as we go through this very tough and trying time. My brother has passed on at the age of 41 from a massive heart attack. We are all in such a state of shock and sorrow. He was a great man who served his country for 22 years in the United States Army. He served in Desert Storm, The Gulf Persian war, Panama's war, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and several other tours of duty. He recieved a Bronze star which is a high ranking award for his courageous efforts. He will be truly missed. He has a 12 year old daughter that is just absolutely beautiful.
I have learned through this experience, that we all need to have our affairs in order on what we want and dont want. We need to really cherish each day we have because tomorrow may never come. We need to keep in touch with the ones we love and let them know it every chance we get. Don't put things off for the tomorrows, do them now.
Rest in peace Alan. You have brought love, life, and laughter to those of us that truly love and care for you. You are not forgotten at all. You will always be my Bubba Rock.
It's sad that I have been 2 so many funerals. I hate it. I have 2 believe they are in a better place. I started nursing school but didn't finish. I can't handle witnessing death. ER was 2 much 4 me. A 5 yr. old girl had 2 have a spinal tap 2 check 4 menengitis. I was assisting the doctor. I felt like I was going 2 pass out. It was so real that I thought of my kids. I finished the semester and haven't gone back.
Thank you all! It means so much. I haven't been able 2 get in the computer mood until about an hour ago.
2 see KevRock being nice means a lot!:)
