Have I missed it? there is a pearl jam channel, a margaritaville channel, where's Kid's channel?
wouldnt it be great? to hear kid unedited, acoustic jam sessions with other artists, commentary, etc.?
I had heard Billy Powell had died on Friday. My wife and I had been to the Rock & Rebels Tour in August of 2008.Yesterday I got up and my Dad(being 76) didn't feel like going to get the local paper ...so I did. Usually I will sit in the parking lot of the store I buy the paper in and read the local section...but I didn't(which I would normaly do to see if anyone I know got busted...lol) Well... I have just moved out of the house I had lived in and raised my kids...(since they were babies) after 13 years...my nieghbors in that time of my life were the kindest people I had ever met in my life...the kind of people who leave you an A.C. in the middle of the scaulding summer...when you couldn't afford one and because you had small children in that house that they hated seeing kids suffer. The kind of guy that would lend you his lawnmower when yours wouldn't run....who would watch out for your kids when they were in danger....well my friend had lung cancer...and he suffered...I heard it from his daughter(who I attended high school with) that a good friend and more than that an exceptional person had passed .The photo in my picture album of me sitting with my daughter playing the guitar ...was taken by my next door neighbor and a hell of a human being.....I'm gonna miss him.. Take advantage of the time that you have....

sorry to read this..... he sounded like a great and caring person. Sometimes a good neighbour is more worth than a far friend.
Rock the 15th! Me and my son will............ Sutcases have been packed and Thursday we finally fly to the States!

Sorry to hear of your loss. Sounds like he was a thoughtful and caring person...a good neighbor. Not many of those around much anymore.
