Kevin...love it, it's an awesome writing and I can feel your emotion behind the words.
I love you genuinely, you're in my heart like a brother, and have been for several yrs now. I will always have your back whenever possible...regardless of circumstances, but then I know you know that already. With God as my witness...I give thanks each day for my many blessings in life, which includes my close dear friends...such as you. I pray God will watch over each of us, and bring us through lifes battles victorious. Sometimes we don't always see the good that will come from bad, but at the end of the battle the good will be seen...provided we stay strong, not give up till the battle is won.
Laying down my sword isn't even comprehendable to my personality, not ever when fighting my life battles, nor when drawing my sword to help win battles for the family and friends I love. Yep, "we are left here, to fight on for another day". When I reflect upon all of our lives...we indeed are facing a variety of life battles, each as unique as we are, but it's those battles which brought us together as friends at one time or another, and have kept our bonds of friendship strong with supporting one another in time of need.
