Summer event season is in full swing in the Quad City area. And as the events go on, so does severe weather.
Event organizers must plan for any possible weather conditions. Burlington Steamboat Days President and Des Moines County Sheriff, Mike Johnson, said organizers run through exercises with emergency management crews.
"We think of all possible scenarios that could happen at Steamboat Days," he said.

My question is, will they let us spend the night or kick us out. I really don't want to have to be sober for this event and thought my little camp trailer may do the trick.
