Do all my fellow Wingnuts have their Octopi ready to throw tonight? Sure am hoping for the best, but don't think it's gonna happen. GO WINGS!!!!
I have to share this since my hopes got lifting for no reason....
So I went to see Uncle Kracker at the Machine Shop tonght. Waited three hours to be front and center. Ty Stone performed and did a great job. Well after Ty I was patiently waiting to see Uncle Kracker. Well the owner of the machine shop comes up to me and whispers in my ear..
"You see that microphone? Well Kid Rock is here and thinking about coming out to perform with Uncle Kracker and if he does he will use that one." (Which was literally a foot from me!) So I go to tell my friend and he's like "Don't tell anyone it's a secret."
So I keep my mouth shut and watch Uncle Kracker put on an amazing show. The crowd was loving it and he was loving it. Well no Kid Rock. Which was cool, he would of been added bonus to an already great show. But I was confused...why tell me or anyone?
I see him after the show and he was like Kid Rock is here..he just decided against performing (which I understand). He told me he just had to tell someone because he loved the fact that Kid Rock was at the Machine Shop..which he's been to a few times. I told him how much I loved Kid Rock and he really got my hopes up. He apologized even thought I wasn't really upset. He said if he had the ability to he would of let me come backstage, but to much comotion already. Oh well. Maybe next time.

I'm thinking of getting tix for the Uncle Kraker show down in NYC .. I just don't think I have the time to go!!
Glad you had a great time..
Your too funny girl.....!!!!
wow thats sounds like a amazing nite.. glad u had fun...
Katie -- I was at the Machine Shop last night, just next to the security gate and stage right. It was a rough crowd, as usual at the Shop. What a fantastic show, though. I have video and pic's. I would love to have met you and KevRock. Ty was adorable, too. I love the energy of a small venue. I felt more energy from Uncle Kracker last night, then the Fillmore, plus it was Matt's birthday and we sang "Happy Birthday" to him.
My friend said it sounded like he was trying to pick me up too. I figured Kid was their, I never doubted the guy was lying to me. He just really got my hopes up!
It was an unbelievable show, Kracker and Ty Stone were both awesome. Well worth the money...best $20 I ever spent.
1200-1500 in the mainroom (First Avenue) and only 250 in the 7th St. entry. We'll be in the mainroom.
Tangie, yes "we" are going. I have our tickets in my hand now. Surprise!!!
Linda
Kid Rock usually always goes to the Machine Shop when Kracker performs. So I really believe he was probably there last night. I wanted to go, but had previous plans. How was Kracker's show?
Katie, Sounds to me like he was trying to pick you up!
That's an awesome picture you took of him!!!
