    The Kid Rock I know ...

    Ok, here is the story ...
    In elementary school 6th grade all three classes went to camp...while at canp we did all the normal things make candles,learned about nature, and had a mock rock competition between all the cabins. our cabin was biging to be doing something that intailed a bus/truck and everyone wanted me to be the bus...well ofcourse I was the fat kid, lived in the trailer park, and didnt have many friends even within my cabin, just makes scence, well I had a break down and cried I didnt want to be the bus i though they were making fun of me... blah, blah, blah..
    On are final day we had a dance and of course it was going to be shower nite, well everyone was going to shower and of course it was open communal showers and being the fat kid having to be nude in front of everyone was hard, luckly the showers were partitioned, well we (all the guys) are getting ready putting gel, in there hair, trying to look are best, my grandmother was a beautician and i had a rat tail comb i had and was using, so out of the blue some one asks "Hey, can I use the comb?" I turned around and one of the popular kids Bob Ritchie was asking me this, wow did it make me feal good, "Sure I said ". then one of his friends I still remember his name(but it doesnt matter now) said "Ewww your going to use HIS comb... gross". I felt 3 inches tall... ANd the Bob said "We all just took showers,whats the big deal..." God that made me feel good, and still does when I think about it to day.... And when people say dont judge a book by its cover, I think of that day and and know what it means...
    So people Bob Ritchie is a real person and I believe that he is still this same person, I hear it in his songs and see it in the things he does for our U.S.Troops...sure we hear bad things every now and then we all have bad days dont we?? Well, Bob I would like to think that you see this and I would like to thank you for you act of kindness, even after 25 years I remember, THANK YOU, John Camacho

You are an awsome person!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Kids hurt Kids and adults hurt others still even when they are grown...Youre story touches so many place's in my life that I wont bother you with my bla..But I have to thank you,,,,Not only is Bobby a great man,You are as well..I know those wounds leave scares and the one's that stood up for you they helped heal them to the scare they are..We relieze that not all are bad...That there are some REAL FOLKS left on Earth,,,And they Make the world go round...You and My Man Bobby are 2 and I never met either or face to face..But you dont have to if you can feel it..I felt you story in ways that touch home....Thank you !!!!!!! And I can not thank you enough...Truely Christy

Your story makes me want to cry.. I too went through chubby phases when I was younger (in one right now LOL) and I have similar stories, except Bob is not in mine.. It's amazing how things from way back can still effect us today. Thanks so much for sharing it means a lot. Much love.
