Just got home from the show!Courtster says (14 Feb '10)Well its 4 am we just got home from the show and i couldnt wait to tell everyone how awsome it was! the seats were great i had a good view of Kid...we were on Marlons side but we still had a great view of Jason, after the show was over we got to go back to there private rooms again! Got to see Jason!! and the rest of the band!! we got upstairs witht hem at 11pm and we left at 1am, we had a blast!! Jason is a nut, he kept me laughing and omg it was so much fun....but amunxt his joking he found time to nag at me for not talking enough lol so when i would get quite he just grabbed me by the shoulders and started shakin me haha! i had a blast, i got 5 or 6 hugs from him and i still cant belive i talked lol! he gave me one of the drumsticks that Kid played the drums with! and then Stephanie gave me on of hers and signed it! I got to take a pic with her...while we was doig that Jason was non top pickin on her callin her short haha! then i got a pic with Bossy and Jason kept sayin "woah now woah now careful dont fall on her....dont life her up off the ground" haha then he told him that he was blockin me and that he was so big they wouldnt see me in the picture hahaha!! Jimmie Bones gave me one of the set lists and Jason gave me his old hair dye haha i cant belive he still had it! He is PUSHY!! he kept tryin to make me eat a spicy nacho...i told him i aint hungry...he just kept on eat it eat! haha! And I got to toalk to Francesca krause(wife) on Jasons cell, he siad that she wanted him to call her when i got back there so she could talk to me to!....how many fans can say that got to talk to the wife of there rockstar hero! Then we got to go hang out in Kids room with all his friends....what shicked me is the man that tattooed Kids back and i was told hid some of Jasons tats too, well those 4 guys were settin next to us at the show and they kept leaving and gettin in my was of takin pics of Jason and i was cussin at them people and givin em evil looks and then get back stage and find out there friends of Jason and Kid....i felt like a fool haha! Jason is the coolest person in the world!! i had so much fun and he kept me laughing and it was just amazing! i thought nothing coud top lastyears concert but....Jason out done his self this year! he looked so cute onstage with his lil vest on haha he was adorable! when we were leavin out Jason walked usout and in the elevator he was talkin bout wanting some new picks and he just looks over at me and says " design me somethin to put on my new picks" my jaw hit the floor and all i could say was "huh?"!! He walked us all the way to the parkinlot lol and then hugged me two more times haha! my most proud moment was gettin to set on a couch with Jason Krause, i could just look to the left and there he was!! settin right next to me! and while we were on the couch...i had my camera settin there and he just picked it up and started takin pictures of me haha i look TERRAFIED in those pics but its the worst best pics ive ever been in! I learned something new and amusing about Jason.....his favorite word is f***, he said it over and over all night long hahaha!

ok, my daughter has been asking about going to the TBTs all year. I keep telling her that she is too young.
I vaguely remember seeing an interview with kr and how he met Joe c and how he had thought he was a kid at first and was appalled that parents allowed their kid to go to his concert because it was clearly not child friendly.
So, I told my kids----not til they are teenagers.
Until then, they can stick with more 'mild' concerts ;)

idk about that there was a man in a wheelchair that was at our show and he was trying to exchamge his ticket for a handicap seat and they said they cant do that....that maybe just at the place ours was at....hope they'll let you do it
Ditto Tangie's thought Brenda. You might get a handicapped seat...depending on your venue but it could be better than your regular seat! Good luck!
Heba he was 10 at the time. It was the Atlanta Tabernacle show...so the crowd was much smaller than usual. I just kept him very close. No issues. There were 2 other kids there. When the local show was here, I took him to that too....a much bigger arena but still no problems.....My friend Michelle just took her son to the Atlanta show...3rd row center...VIP...he's 12 or 13.
how old is your son? I'm wondering what a good age is to take my kids to see the TBTs. I think they are tad young right now (9 and 6), but they LOVE them!
Tangie.....I wouldn't pay to go see Metallica today. I really don't like what they've become. I'm so disappointed in them!
I thought James Hetfield was one stand up dude, he was so fun to hang around with that night, real down to earth! Tall! Same with Kirk, but he's short, lol.
I stood around the sound stage for at least an hour waiting to complete my autographed napkin (lol) with Lars sig, but he was kinda a dick and finally came over scratched his name and didn't even say anything to me when I told him he was my favorite drummer of all time! He just turned around and went back to what he was doing. :( I know they have lives and all, but when you walk into a small town theatre (and they are locals to that area too) you better be prepared to be bombarded with fans!
So, in all, that meeting was bittersweet! I never looked at Lars the same again.
Besides the TBTs, I'd really love to meet Ozzy and Black Sabbath! They are truly gods in my music book of life! :)

Awesome story Court....I'm very very happy for you. Bossy took my son and I back to meet Kid in Atlanta last year. He's a big ole teddy bear. He even emailed me a couple times after. It meant a lot to my son. I will forever be in his debt. Did you find the set list? I'm anxious to see what's on it too. I'm going to Detroit show in 2 weeks!

Thanks to you I knew who Bossy was at the Dallas show and right when to throw the shirt I made on stage. He picked it up right after the last song. Everything else got thrown off stage, but he took mine back with him. I put a note in the pocket that said, "This is just a little thanks for what you do for the fans, the troops and makin' kick ass rock and roll. Keep doin' what you do." I'm curious if they really look at it.
You've got some inside knowledge. What do you think?

I remember meeting Metallica when I was a teenager. I had seen them so many times in concert and was never fortunate enough to get a meet/greet ticket type thing, but when I least expected it, I got to meet the whole band and hang with them after a Megadeth show (for the record, I don't like Megadeth, I was drug there by friends, lol), except Lars, he was kind of a introvert and was preoccupied with the sound stage, maybe he knew someone back there or something. Anyway's, I remember how much it meant/means to me to be able to meet certain bands, musicians, etc and how it made me feel after doing so and reading all of your experiences brings back those memories :) I was always sure to walk away with something to remember it by. I have a whole album full of signed parapanelia from bands that I adore.
The TBTs have easily became my favorite band! I think it is great how they allow people to experience them, for themselves, and how they keep it real with their fans, not only in public, but with their music and lyric. I wonder how many people this band have actually 'touched' in one way or another? I wonder if they (tbts) would be suprised by the numbers?

Jason said hes gonna be sure they come back to houston and next time he sees me if he can remember to bring it hes gonna give me one of his guitars!!!!! And he said hes gonna have to come see me one day and see what Jaspers like AHHHH!!!! He is a joker he kept me laughin....he ws pickin on everyone and i got to meet Lynyrd Skynyrd! While Skynyrd was playin Bossy came over to where we were settin at the show and stood there with us and i was amazed haha! We got to hang with them for "3 HOURS" me and Jason was settin on this iny couch together and we was squished on the couch and i was in HEAVEN hahaha! then he kept slapin me on the leg ever time he'd say something funny...im'a have a bruse haha! ad when i would get quite he'd start shakin me haha! Bossy was fun to we hung with him for a while...he talkin bout some woman at the show who asked him to make a porno with him hahaha! and then Stephanie came in and that woman is so much fun and just adorable! me and the whole band were squished into this one little room haha i had so much fun i laughed the entire time!! Bossy is a sweetheart too! Him and Jason were in a argument about who was more gangster haha Jason said "i been to jail 8 times and one time i stayed there for 12 hours" bossy said "i been once but it aint how many times you go to jail its how many times you do something wrong and dont get caught!, i killed more men than you hahaha! i just spin around in a circle with my gat blastin" haha i had so much fun with them two! Jimmie Bones gave me one of the set list and said here add this to your collection! and Jason has been lookin at my personal myspace and my and my ex friends Chi Chi and Bubbles page and he was askin bout chi chi and if i wooped her ass yet hahaha! He said he still has my number and is gonna call me when he gets bored and said that next time dont listen to what anybody says just believe what he says to me..and that anytime he comes to hosuton to be ready cause ya know ya
