I know this much for sure...in all the years I've known Kevin & been posting with him regularly on Kid's websites...this is only the second time he's EVER mentioned being worried or concerned about his daughter. He rarely talks about his family at all on websites, protectively. So, he's gotta be really worried about a guy taking advantage, & so on...to mention this in post thought.
The only other time was about a boy too, saying something unlady like to H...and Kevin went & talked to the kid's mom, haha. He said the mom was HOTT though, hahaha. :)

I heard on the radio last week, that a lot less people are buying tickets for sports, because of the way they have to buy them. Not sure how true that is, but the way the economy is it doesn't surprise me.

Angel's thought was my first thought...introduce yourself to the guy!! Be polite of course, not that you wouldn't be & embarrass H...but, simply meeting the dad intimidates the hell out of most young guys, lol.
Magazine articles often lie for a variety of reasons. I can't count the number of times I've read magazine design articles related to my work, that quoted me saying something I NEVER said!! They put a spin on it for interest, sales, whatever. I speculate the reason SI may have lied IS because Tiger ticket sales are down. All sports media is linked closely to the sports organizations/leagues...they scratch each other's backs. It's a $$ brainwashing tactic...make the fan think they will be doing a good thing like everyone else they're reading about is doing...supporting the Tigers. People get caught up in what they are 'told' is the popular thing to do. Music's the same, haha...the industry & radio brainwashes the listener into believing if you're not a fan of a particular artist then you're out of the loop. I see people who become fans of an artist, buy the CD, just cause they're told everyone else is...before ya know it, everyone else is...is an accurate thing! LOL The artist & music often sucks, but hey...it's gotta be good, cause everyone else says so!! LOL
People's minds today are too easy to manipulate, really they are...the majority just doesn't seem to think for themselves at all. Trust me...there are some artists out there today selling shows out, millions in CD's...whose voices SUCK, no talent off key horrible!...and are covered up by the instruments, back up vocals...the only talent the artist truly has is an image the industry conceived to sell records. It works too! lol
I agree about Uncle Kracker. And aside from his obvious talent, he's gorgeous! I love him!
As for you, Kevin, your daughter will be just fine. The fact that you even know about 'this guy' is a good sign of her honesty and openness. Don't worry so much.:)
