OMG!! I hope you can make it!! That would be so fricken AWESOME!! It's been tooooooo long since we've seen each other! I'd love to meet the "Misses" too! :)

I promise though, I won't crowd you much while on a cruise with your "Misses", even though I miss you terribly! haha :)

There u go, Connie...

Me and the Misses are gonna try to save our pennies

I don't think you're selfish one bit! We do & do for our kids, make many sacrifices putting them ahead of ourselves...I know I have & still do, and mine are grown! haha

It's my turn now...I've paid my dues and paid some for others. I'm gonna be on that cruise for 'ME'!! :)

Well I agree to this. I mean I know we all love our kids, but sometimes we need something special without our children, yes it'll be hard to go and enjoy yourself. But just think to yourself you deserve this and that your children one day will have their day. I mean there could be other reasons why one would really want to bring their child, but I like my reason, lol, and if anyone thinks that is selfish, I'm sorry, but think about how hard you've worked to raise your children and put up with your spouse, lol ok joking kinda there, lol. but anyone who works and so forth deserves something special. Something like this is very special. I grew up with my parents doing these special things and I couldn't go. It's something that is awarded to you, not your children, think about that.

@ least a girlfriend would keep him entertained, 2 boy's spells trouble... trust me I have 4.

I think anyone who would even entertain the thought of taking their kid or kids has a few screws loose

No a male friend-his bestfriend

As my miserable life would have it.. Unless by some miracle.. I will not be on the cruise.. Believe me, I am so depressed over this..Anyway... If I were going and had the money for my kids to go as well, I would take them.. 17 & 15 I think that would be a trip of a lifetime for the kids.... Who else can say I went on a cruise with Kid Rock....

Hell no! Kids aren't going with me, this time! I actually lied and told him it was an adult only cruise..ssshhh don't tell.

Lynn, are you going? Say yes! haha

I shouldn't...but lordy it sure looks like I will be on that ship come April! Unless something goes terribly wrong between now & tomorrow when I book during my predetermined pre-sale time! YEEHAW MF'ers LETS ROCK!!

Connie Jo_3's picture

That ain't no bullsh*tin, haha!

Well Carnival has a Kids program, with it divided according to the childs age.............. from out of diapers until 17 yrs ( i think) .
I sure u can look it up on their website.
I , myself , would say NAW to kids, but I dont have any and dont want the responsibility for any.

All I'm sayin is once the ship leaves the dock...you're stuck good or bad!!!

Connie Jo_3's picture

I suppose they could go to their cabin...providing you're willing to stay there with them, or trust them to stay in the cabin alone. Also, it's a big boat, haha...I would think one could find 'safe' environments for teens, and besides...ship security is usually fairly tight, or so I've been told.

Ms. Understood's picture

Only problem i see is what if it isn't a good environment for a teenage boy or girl??? How ya gonna get him/her away from it???? Ya can't just say, "OK, you don't belong here lets go home"...

Kid Rock Lover_2's picture

Yeah!!! I dont think it would be bad if they are older. I know My 17yr old Daughter is wanting to go too.. She loves Kid Also. But Of Course not as much as me..lol

Connie Jo_3's picture

PS: I suspect there won't be many kids on this particular cruise, all considered. :)

Connie Jo_3's picture

Don't see anything wrong with taking your 16 yr old along, he's old enough to have common sense, stay out of trouble no doubt if you can't supervise him 24 hrs.. That would be my only concern with taking a kid...if I couldn't enjoy myself due to having to supervise my kid. I wouldn't think one could with bringing young kids. Just depends upon whether or not one goes on the cruise for their own fun & relaxation, or as family fun. :)
