We have an ongoing argument about infinity. Kinda schmaltzy but when one of the kids says, Love you, I always answer back w/ Love you more, infinity plus one. (I know very schmaltzy.) BUT, very big BUT, my hubby and oldest told me that this can't happen cuz infinity isn't a number but just infinity. I say infinity is something so you can always add the number 1 to something. I know this probably makes no sense to anyone but infinity makes no sense to me.
Member going by the name of ARMS, is purposefully causing hard feelings in the forum. She has called the hard working, paying customers of the Kid rock cruise, over weight, drunk and old... There is no excuse for her shit starting posts. Please Delete and Block her internet addy from this site.

Ok as some of you know Gatekeeper and I will be participating in Relay for Life it's to help win the fight against cancer.
Anyways alot of the other teams are doing games and crafts.
Any idea of somthing we could do that wouldn't cost alot of money? I figured any game I would get penny candy and some blow pops for the kids if they won.
HELP I have less then 3 weeks...lol

HI- That link stinks- I had to go thru the cancer society 800#- he linked me to the shelby county relay then I was able to find your team- If any one wants to donate and tries that link just call the 800# on the screen that coms up and tell them shelby county MI and they can get you to the correct page. Wish i was in the area i would come out and give you all a hand. Go team!

I'm so sorry Kelly! It's never ending..I found out a friend was recently dx with BC!! I will add your friend to my LONG list..and believe you me it is a LONG one! How old is he?
aaawww Kelly I'm so sorry about your friend:( Hope it hasn't spread and they and they and they can remove the prostate and he can live cancer free. I'm praying!!
In the last 2 weeks I have found out 3 people I either know or know someone that knows them have been strickin with cancer.
Makes this relay hit home a little bit more.
Craig that is a GREAT idea, never thought of that. I will jumping all over that tomorrow. I have called so many places and alot arent doing donations anymore of you needed to submit a letter 3 to 6 months ago. I should of know so that is my fault but I will be more prepared for next year now.

For kids...if you have access to decent sized round rocks, let them paint them pink as a gift for Mom. Give them small brushes, it will take longer. Or have some molds hanging around, and some Plaster of Paris. You can mix red food coloring in to make it pink. They can make wall plaques and more paperweights. Cutting pieces off the moleskin you get in the foot department gives you cheaper scratch protection on the bottom or against the wall.
If you bring gold, copper, silver, or black paint pens, they can write a special message on it.

If you can find someone in your area who owns a moonwalk or moonbounce they maybe willing to donate to you or at a lower cost than they would normally charged.My wife and I own a couple of them and have never hesitated donating them for a good cause....Hope this helps...they are a big hit at events like that

take donations for the treasure hunt the prize can be the $$ kids don't care if they only win 5 bucks its the fun stuff they remember the most'..
Well lets see this is a bit far fetched but........ how about starting a hope garden? Get some old plant containers or some old wagons or other neat things and paint them up and fill them with soil, then get six packs of like pansies or violas or whatever the garden shops have and then you can charge like a buck a plant or 50 cents a plant to have people plant them then also do a chinese auction on the planters and at the end of the day when they are all planted draw the winners......just have them put their name and number on the back of the ticket. Not only is it interactive, but people actually have a chance to participate and win what has been done.
I was thinking about a tresure hunt, after all we are going to be in the park for hours. What better way to keep the kids busy BUT how do I charge for that?
Also Balloon stomp ran thru my head too. each kid blows a ballon up and we tie a string to the ballon and the ankle and you try to pop everyones balloon and be the last one with your ballon not popped is the winner. I'm going to get some kind of candy or stikers for them.

SO far this is what I have going on..
My best Friend will be there giving manicures and nail art for free to surviors and caregivers and to whomever wants to pay for one, all the proceeds would go to the AMC.
Our Massage therapist will be there charging people a dollar a minute for chair massages, all monies go to the ACS.
I'm buying pizza to sell and a local pizza place is matching me with the number of pizza's I buy.
Almost all of my team is making something to sell ..
One is making chilli and we are getting the small frito bags and dumping a scoop of chilli in it and giving them a spoon..hahah never had it before but sounds cool.
