We were at the Tigers game tonight as the no hitter was happening, I never mentioned it, neither did my son or husband, we know better, but someone didn't cuz Anibal Sanchez pitched an unbelievable game tonight, and was robbed of the no hitter with 2 outs to go in the top of the ninth, by no less than Joe Mauer. UGH, but brilliant pitching by Sanchez. FYI for the baseball newbies, NEVER MENTION NO HITTER WHILE A NO HITTER IS HAPPENING!!! I don't buy into jinxes but I buy into this one.

There's no reason to work for the man in this wonderful country of ours. Just met with my husbands , now my business partner to go over the details of the new company . He and my spouse ave been working on patents for sometime and he's has quite a few and other ventures and seeing how he has some free time now we decided upon our venture of passive income bringing in about 15 g a day to start. I'm gonna be busy doing the marketing portion since I have all the contacts until it gets going and off the ground and then well, fishing, writing a few songs.

Kilpatrick Pleads Guilty, Resigns as Detroit Mayor
DETROIT (AP) -- Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick has agreed to plead guilty to obstruction charges and will step down after more than six years leading the nation's 11th-largest city.
The plea deal was announced during a court hearing Thursday and brings to an end a seven-months-long sex scandal that led to felony charges against Kilpatrick and plunged the city, region and state into political chaos.
As part of the plea deal, the 38-year-old Democrat is expected to serve jail time.
The married mayor and former top aide Christine Beatty were charged in March with perjury, misconduct and obstruction of justice. They're accused of lying under oath about an affair and their roles in the firing of a deputy police chief.
Beatty did not plead guilty and next will appear in court on Sept. 11.
It was awesome to finally watch him say he LIED UNDER OATH!

oh, and more good news I heard was that if he is to pay restitution to the city, it can't be forgiven if he declares bankruptcy :)
Kwame had these people convinced that he had made their lives better...which might be true to a small degree. But they need to realize they deserve EVEN MORE.
And I think a lot of those people think the entire issue was about his being unfaithful to his wife- I think many don't get the LEGAL aspect of it.
And then there's this school of thought......"He may be a thief and a liar, but he's OUR thief and liar!"
Kwame was very successful at reopening old wounds and bad feelings between the burbs (largely white pop.) and the city (largely black pop.). He played the race card to deflect the criticism coming his way... and people bought it hook, line and sinker......and now we have to repair the relationship it took over a decade to mend after Coleman Young left..........
Sadly ppl will stand by him no matter what..makes me sick!
