your rite dude, as i have heared it was due to a late night drinking at a night club into the early hrs, he new he had a show, i just hope he does realise how far we came to see him play, hes still my hero i dont mean to sound like a dick i just fought i would type how i felt
in all due respect you weren't there, and no matter how bad he feels i'm sure me and allot of other people feel 100 times worse, he is still my idol but you wern't there and let down so you can't really judge can you?
I can understand how it can be disappointing, in a huge way.... but, Kid would not have done it if he did not absolutely have to. Making him feel even worse about it, in my opinion, is not really cool.
Kid Rock is coming back to Europe in late 2008 - let's hope he stops by England for a show or 2!
yeah part of the crowd did boo but they were motor head and judas priest fans who only came to see them basically, but i know there were a good few kid rock fans out there. Doubt they would have booed at the end tho as seether didn't get an initial warm reception either but they were good
I have been a kid rock fan since i was 14 and i have got every cd (polyfuze method i had to bid on ebay and cost me around 100) most of the old ones i have on cassette aswell. I have waited to see him for around ten years and was thinking of going to America and following him around on tour but then i heard he was on at download and was absolutely made up so spent over 120 on getting there the ticket and parking my shitty suzuki swift.
I wore my redwings top and managed to battle my way past all the crusty motorhead fans right to the front centre where i stayed until kid was due on. I am just so dissapointed that when it was announced he cancelled it was when he was due on stage. I don't believe for a second he was rushed to hospital and i read articles that after he performed in sheppards bush the night before he was seen in night clubs till the early hours. I just hope he understands how ripped apart i was at that announcement. The guy is my idol and i appreciate everything he has offered music as he in my opinion is such a unique artist, but what happened at download tore me up especially as i had to listen to that gobshite rom disturbed straight after "MY CHILDREN...MY BLOOD".
I will always follow kid rock as he has given me such joy through his music and will always admire him as a person as i understand what hard work he put in to get where he is and i have basically worn all his cds out, i swear i will go and see him some day if i have to travel to the end of the world but i just wanna say that what he did at download sucked!
