Where I grew up, there were no rich people. No bankers, no rightwing titans ranting the poor were lazy and the government was taking all their hard-earned money. Some dads worked for the electric company, others sold insurance or held blue-collar jobs.

Yep that makes sense to me, when it comes to music l just don't have the ear for it. I tried to learn the drums and gave up when my teacher had a sex change and as l was only about 8 years old it freaked me out. Then l wanted to learn the guitar so l brought a acoustic one but that failed too, my best mate gave me a few lessons at one point l though she was going to hit me over the head with it lol. So l don't think a musical instrument is for me either. But give me a sketch book and pencil or a piece of clay and l'm well away, when l can think of something l want to make!
I dabble in poetry allot, more of a hobby than a career, I have started playing with lyric writing but I really don't play an instrument so basically I hear the music in my head as I write....does that make sense? lol

Well l studied Ceramics (playing with clay) at uni, graduated in 2000 and to be honest l'm a very lazy artist, although this summer l'm going to try and get my arse into gear and start producing some works.
So what do you guys specialise in? I do like some Contempoary art esp as l work for a cont art gallery it comes in handy.

Well I think I am very creatively challenged, but I do enjoy and appreciate a good poem or drawing or quote. So that is why I would like to join. Maybe I will get inspired.
